Yes, I successfully graduated from Ashworth High School!!!!
I want to extend thanks to my parents for teaching me what I needed it to get where I am now and to the staff of Ashworth High School for the support and opportunity to complete my High School Education.
In closing, I have earned my diploma and educational milestone through hard work, distance learning, and studying.
I'm now in college at the University of North Alabama and earning my degree in Social Science Education.
Sincerely Yours,
James Edward Clark
I think I can see light at the end of the tunnel!!! Kevin, I worked on the tree reflections, added the blue on the left. The trees may not be blended enough yet, but from a distance it looks pretty good. What do you think? I put down some leaves, and will be adding some more. I am not through with the path yet. I added some warmness to the grass with orange. I want to do more highlights and shadows on the foreground grass and path. Right now, I am doing the fun stuff - detailing. That is when it become play. Also, I have to put in the little puppy and kitty somewhere. Have any ideas on that? The cat is mostly white with a couple of black spots and the puppy is a little black Lhasa Apso. I want them to be subtle, not a main feature

This view shows looking towards the west some of the different views of the elevators.
The Benkelman Elevators owned the elevators on the right side of the image. One is a old wood grain elevator covered with metal siding. The other one is an all steel grain elevator, a grain annex.
In the far distance you see the old wood grain elevator that is operated by FVC, Frenchman Valley Co-op

One of six images taken at Joralemon Park in Ravena, New York, USA on May 5, 2020. Given the constraints imposed on public time by COVID-19, Joralemon was a better choice than Bartholomew's Cobble in Sheffield, MA. Both have wonderful limestone, but the trails in Joralemon are wider & less traveled which allows social distancing. I spent 2 carefree hours walking the woods, enjoying the Spring ephemerals. I was too late for Bloodroot & Hepatica & a bit too early for Mayapple, but other wildflowers blanketed the woods & made me very happy! Here is some of what I saw. Lots of Red Columbine! I love it when it grows on rock faces, because it is so much easier to photograph.
Distance doesnt make us further or nearer, but it makes us realize how much our feeling to each other
Swinbrook is a delightful village within walking distance of Burford. It was the childhood home of the Mitford sisters, parodied in Nancy Mitford's 'The Pursuit of Love'. Nancy, Unity and Diana are buried to the west of the church. The church has work of c1200 but the exterior is Decorated and Perpendicular with a western bell tower added in 1822. It is famous for the Fettiplace monuments, six generations of whom recline on shelves on the north wall of the chancel. A path through the churchyard leads to St. Oswald's church lost in the river meadows along the banks of the Windrush. The Windrush runs through a ford in the middle of village which seems remote and timeless. There is a wonderful pub which was once a water mill and is owned by the Duchess of Devonshire, nee Deborah Mitford and a picturesque cricket ground.

Education is important to a child. This story represents children who are universally deserving of an education regardless of where they are born, who they are, their ethnicity, where they live, or whether or not they are refugees. As a father, my dream is to see my children receive the best education they can. Is that not what everyone wants for their children? What would happen if they didn’t receive the best education?
The closes and more obvious reference to this are the refugee children from Myanmar, who have fled their homelands to seek for asylum. They are now living with their families here in Malaysia. This body of work, brings a visual comparison between two children from the Arakan ethnic group of Rohingya. One has the opportunity to go to school and the other does not. This project photographs the children at moments in their daily lives. As close as possible captured at the same moments in order to convey their differences.
This project is aimed to raise awareness on the issue.
By pairing the images of the two children, I hope to visually highlight the obvious importance of education to a child.
