I was waiting for a meeting to start, so I tried out the digital zoom on the camera. I'm not thrilled with it, 'cause digital zoom sucks over optical zoom. :)
This sign is old information, dating to a family who moved away a few years back. But it still draws my attention whenever I pass by. As a photographer, I spend a lot of time hanging out in the difference between just looking and really paying attention. I live on the other side of that hill, so this is familiar ground on days when travel is stuck at short distance. It's the equivalent of a couple city blocks that I know better than anyone alive, east or west on Clarence Road, or up and down the mountain on Inglewood. This little bit of rural sprawl probably wouldn't draw my attention in passing, but it's a prime example of the beauty hiding directly underfoot. When I was young and broke, I'd circle around the same small stretch several times a week. No cash for gas teaches you to love what's close. But even though my ancestors are Scandinavian, there's more to it than Stockholm Syndrome. Those early years shook off an impairment that so many never lose – so I can see real value in the gift of sight.

Mi ojitos verde limón , gracias por todos los años que me dedicaste que me escuchaste reÃr llorar gritar maldecir tu sabes , quiero que sepas que donde estés estaré contigo para mi la distancia no vale nada y te lo dije en muchas ocasiones , quiero que seas una pequeña gigante estudiosa , y me extrañes de vez en cuando , gracias por guardar mis secretos , penas .. desilusiones y perdón por mis momentos de ansias o arrepentimientos que tuviste que escuchar variadas veces , GRACIAS porque en el tiempo que estuvimos juntas me ayudaste a ser una mejor persona , a pensar mas y a entender de una vez que por lo menos UNA persona estaria conmigo siempre , gracias porque me enseñaste que no todos son pura boca , gracias por la paciencia que me tienes , se que me equivoco y me dices las cosas y me las repites y yo ilusa caigo denuevo pero TÚ siempre dispuesta a volver a repetirme lo que debo hacer aunque me equivoque dos mil veces , gracias por los momentos chistosos que solo TÚ sabias entender , perdóname si aveces me distancio pero tu sabes que soy asà y es una parte de mi que debo corregir , de verdad eres una de las personas que siempre tengo presente.
Este año , me harás mucha falta tenlo por seguro , incluso en estos momentos necesito un abrazo reconfortante, pero creo que ya te quedas mas tranquila ya que los obstáculos ahora son mas pequeños, te echare de menos en nuestro ultimo año , te quiero MUCHO y nos vemos en brazil.
