Porque sí, porque a todo el mundo le surge esa repentina necesidad de relatar algo, de expresarse, de utilizar algunas palabras. Porque a mucha de esa gente no le sale de que hablar; es que resulta difícil llegar a combinar las ganas de escribir con una buena idea. No se como habrá nacido esto en mi mente, la verdad es que primero empezó siendo una palabra, una simple urgencia de escribir "porque sí," pero a medida que las letras se van juntando, las palabras toman un sentido, y otras nuevas se van desarrollando en torno al tema, podría decirse que se trata de un simple tren, un recorrido, un conjunto de ramas que salen de otras, y así terminamos "razonando" fuera del recipiente. Pero yo, aquí, voy a intentar evitarlo, recuerdo que mi tema refiere al uso del idioma, al de las palabras y las ideas. Bueno, es que este pequeño monólogo que estás leyendo todavía no tiene un curso completo, y a esta altura, todavía dudo que tenga algún final preciso. Por ahora no hago más que buscar aquellas palabras que albergan en mi cerebro, escondidas en algún rincón de mi lenguaje, e intentar ordenarlas aquí de forma medianamente interesante. Tal vez te preguntes de que va todo esto. La verdad, es que no sé, no tengo la más mínima idea. También puede que estés intentando encontrar la conexión entre el texto y la foto. Pues te diré, que las únicas cosas que conectan la fotografía con el texto, son estas cuarenta y dos palabras que acabo de contar y escribir.

First test roll with my Russian FED-50 collapsible lens (this one has a standard LTM mount, unlike the FED-50 that came with my Fed-1 camera). I have a beat up old VOOLA hood that's perfect for these lenses, but, of course, I left it home. Nice lens, though, even without a hood.

Zorki 6, expired Kodak SO-077 film exposed at ISO 200.The colors shift like crazy with this film, but I like the look here and didn't do any correction.

A message through drawing reminding everyone that we should be washing our hands. It was also said that children who are not able to come to the library every day are very upset about it and they don't wish for this situation to stay long.

I'm learning how to light correctly! lol :) This exercise actually really clicked with me...I'd always heard this idea described, but could never seem to recreate it. This assignment helped me do that, and I feel like I finally understand it a little better. :) Horray!

Distance, I have a lot of, took this photo traveling at 100klms/hr (passenger) thought it turned out alright.

Above, after trigger mod, same location as before the mod, but receiver was way inside the house approx. 30ft. away from original location of receiver in the first picture, and I was stood a bit further back!

Intaglio engraving

This is an experiment with an intaglio engraving on plastic, which I decided not to print as printing it would hinder the message of the artwork. The most significant part of this artwork is the distance between the hands, which is meant to represent a close relationship between two people, from afar. However, as the viewer nears the artwork, the distance between the fingers and a part of the palm should become the focus. Ultimately, the closeness of the hands never lets the distance to be an evident factor, hence the ambiguity of the message is left to be interpreted by the audience and their current emotions when viewing the artwork.
