Interior displays like this were installed in older Trollinos by the factory but only 5 trolleybuses managed to keep them till the end
I went to a large garden centre to buy plants & found masses of flowers at the entrance. I liked the shape of these & they made a lovely display - but they weren’t the colour I wanted.

HST power car 43005 at Penzance after arrival on the rear of the 0847 from Plymouth. The return working is the 1210 to Plymouth, a layover of just shy of 90 minutes. at this the most southerly station on the National Network. The floral display is typical of the well looked after stations in the Southwest.

My husband plays around with wood working. He buys all his wood right from the saw mill in rough sawn condition. He then machine planes it before making something from it.
Some of the wood he uses is recycled wood from hardwood skids that are headed for the dump or the burn pile.

He made me a new quilt display cabinet out of Cherry Wood. It measures 72" high x 45 1/2" wide x 16 3/4" deep (outside dimensions)
The sides and the frame of the cabinet as well as the door frames and shelf fronts are made of Cherry Wood.
The back is made from a sheet of Luan and the actual shelves (behind the shelf fronts) are made from MDF. So it makes this wood project "Green" to some extent.
The glass was not recycled this time around but was custom cut for the size of cabinet I wanted.
Not all my quilts or quilts tops are in the cabinet yet.
The top shelf holds some of my quilt tops on the left side and on the right side are quilts that need to be binded.
The second shelf shows some of my smaller finished quilts which I roll up to prevent creases in the quilts.
The 3rd and 4th shelves hold larger completed quilts.
The wood is in it's natural state and is only rubbed with danish oil.
Columbia Bible College graciously lent this collection of dolls that once belonged to my Grandmother Knopf to CCPL for the summer.
These window displays look like they have so much more depth with the interior lighting and darkness outside the window. I'm seeing a lot more details this way.

I saw this Korean War US Army Jeep on display at the University of South Florida, so I shot a few pictures of it and took a video clip so you all could hear the siren. I should have taken some close up shots of the siren itself, but unfortunately I didn't think about it.
Apparently this display was setup for the US Army Recruiting Station.

The Bellagio contains a Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. In total, there are five seasonal themes that the Conservatory undergoes: Chinese New Year, Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. From January to mid-March, the Conservatory celebrates the Chinese New Year with a display dominated by flowers bromeliads and Orchids, as well as the animal of that particular year that the Chinese zodiac celebrates. The theme then changes over to the Spring display, which lasts until May, and usually features a butterfly house as well as many varieties of tropical flowers. During Memorial Day weekend, Bellagio then switches over to its All-American Summer display, featuring a large recreation of the Liberty Bell, as well as several American flags throughout the Conservatory.
The Summer display is usually very patriotic featuring a lot of red, white, and blue, and is dominated by hydrangeas. From late September until Thanksgiving weekend, the Conservatory then puts on it Fall display featuring several varieties of chrysanthemum and several large pumpkins throughout the display. Finally, the Conservatory then switches over to its winter holiday display after Thanksgiving, which is dominated by its large centerpiece Christmas Tree and several varieties of poinsettia. Whatever the season, colorful displays are decorated with many real fragrant flowers, and fountains may also be present. The Conservatory is located next to the lobby of the hotel and is open to the public.

GONE - This is a cute little vintage cabinet which we have repainted in sunny yellow on the exterior and white on the mirrored interior.

While creating the parfumerie, I was trying out different ideas for the display window, one of which was this one.
The folks working in the Toast post office had this wonderful, large poster made and are proudly displaying it in their post office. :-)

WHO NAMED OUR NEW POST OFFICE TOAST
Mt. Airy's New Neighboring Office Opened Monday. Gets Mail Twice Daily.
When the postoffice department at Washington decided that the Cross Road settlement west of this city needed postoffice facilities it was only a matter of a few days to get the office in operation. So we now have us a new neighbor to Mount Airy, the town of Toast, N.C., the postoffice being located in the store of Hutchens & Bowman and the new postmaster being I.V. Hutchens. It was opened to the public Monday and is now receiving mail through the Mount Airy office twice daily...
...Mr. Hutchens has built a separate room in the store for the office and has put in lock boxes for those who want to rent them. The office will be open from 7 A.M. to 8 P.M. for mail and money orders.
The selection of the name has been a much discussed subject as it is entirely foreign to anything in this section. The department asked Mr. Hutchens to submit a list of names from which to make a selection. His first list submitted was rejected. And during the days that passed he submitted three other lists, none of which offered a name that was accepted. Mr. Hutchens says he gave up hope of being able to find a name and informed the department, and so in some way, some where, by some one at Washington perhaps while some clerk was nibbling on a piece of dry toast in a cafe, the name of Toast was adopted and forwarded down here to be used for the new postoffice.

I loved this display! The tree is huge and after I got it into position it was about 7 feet or more! I hand colored it with oil pastels. The apples have a picture of a challenged or banned book and a description of why it was challenged or banned. They're 3D made from a t-shirt and iron-on transfers which I stuffed with fiberfill. It was quite impressive but unfortunately the patrons thought so too and after all the poking and prodding it cracked in half - The End ;(
