Another shot from the downtown Flickr meet last week. I wasn't going to post it, because it's a little graphic and a little gritty, but then I decided I needed to.
There are an awful lot of bad roads and deadends that we can travel down on our journey--I traveled most of them in my youth.
Hopefully, this young lady is doing fine, and is just being young. But I think she may want to find her way off this road, pretty soon.

A scene of uproar and disorder is what google tells me the word donnybrook means in Australian and American English. It certainly looks like this jetty has been in one. The fact that it is in the small coastal town of Donnybrook north of Brisbane will must emphasise this claim.
Another off the beaten track town, just being discovered and urbanised unfortunately, it's a great place for fishing on Pumicestone Passage opposite Bribie Island.

Het kunstwerk ‘Order/Disorder’ van Lambert Kamps in het plantsoen in de bocht van de Nieuwe Keizersgracht naar de Plantage Muidergracht. Het is een fascinerend schouwspel van lichtende cirkels die los van elkaar draaien in steeds veranderende snelheden. Het mechanisme maakt daarbij wel een krakend geluid.

The artwork ‘Order/Disorder’ van Lambert Kamps in the small park in the curve of the Nieuwe Keizersgracht to the Plantage Muidergracht. It is a fascinating display of lighting circles which are turning indepently of each other in ever changing speeds. The mechanism is making a continuing squeaking noise.

Posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a severe anxiety disorder that can develop after exposure to any event that results in psychological trauma. This event may involve the threat of death to oneself or to someone else, or to one's own or someone else's physical, sexual, or psychological integrity, overwhelming the individual's ability to cope.
The African Gray Hornbill prefers open woodland and savannah. The female lays two to four white eggs in a tree hollow, which is blocked off during incubation with a cement made of mud, droppings and fruit pulp. There is only one narrow aperture, just big enough for the male to transfer food to the mother and the chicks. When the chicks and female outgrow the nest, the mother breaks out and rebuilds the wall, after which both parents feed the chicks. The male has a black bill, whereas the female has red on the mandibles. The plumage of the male and female is similar. Immature birds are more uniformly grey. The flight is undulating. The similarly sized red-billed hornbill has uniformly grey plumage.
The African grey hornbill is omnivorous, taking insects, fruit and reptiles. It feeds mainly in trees.

TOMORROW I will be taking photos inside an old 1800's home that has been untouched for over 200 years! I am so excited but so nervous to go there! It should be a blast though, I can't wait to share the photos we will be creating there with all of you!
