Dissociative identity disorderis a psychiatric diagnosis that describes a condition in which a single person displays multiple distinct identities or personalities (known as alter egos or alters), each with its own pattern of perceiving and interacting with the environment. The diagnosis requires that at least two personalities routinely take control of the individual's behavior with an associated memory loss that goes beyond normal forgetfulness; in addition, symptoms cannot be due to drug use or medical condition.

There is a great deal of controversy surrounding the topic. There are many commonly disputed points about DID. These viewpoints critical of DID can be quite varied, with some taking the position that DID does not actually exist as a valid medical diagnosis, and others who think that DID may exist but is either always or usually an adverse side effect of therapy. DID diagnoses initially appeared to be almost entirely confined to the North American continent, but later surveys found cases on other continents but at significantly lower rates.

I think it looks better here

The names are pretty random... whatever happened to pop into my head. Except "Sybil"... anyone know why?

Whitney was the first to get it. It was Sybil Dorsett who had the disorder in the 50's. There was a movie about it... NOT to be confused with Sybil Trelawney (from Harry Potter)

Anxiety disorder.

In my case, I appear to be well, calm and in control of the situation, the truth is that sometimes I feel that I have so many things to do, to achieve, to wish, to order... an endless list.

I feel like a spider is making her home in my throat and the web of it suffocates me by getting through my windpipe into my lungs, and sometimes I forget how to breathe. It's like suffocating and wanting to throw up, but none happens.

In the end, that feeling ends up disappearing and my thought wins the battle. For today, one day at a time.

I think I like this one

Show you a bit of my collection and the reason why I love the end of dry season.

They all come from dry and hot places, bloom between february and april and prepare their capsules (when pollinated) and new bulbs for the beginning of wet season.
