Challenging myself as usual. I nearly always have difficulty creating symmetry on these type of rotation shots and tonight was no exception. Happy to be messing around in the conservatory whilst the wind and rain is coming down outside.

What is Midsummer Night's Dream about?

A story of order and disorder, reality and appearance and love and marriage.

Egeus brings his rebellious daughter Hermia in front of the Duke. Egeus wants her to marry Demetrius but Hermia refuses, because she's in love with Lysander. The Duke orders Hermia to obey her father or, according to Athenian law, she must face a death penalty or enter a convent.

Hermia and Lysander decide to elope that night. They confide in their friend Helena. However, she's secretly in love with Demetrius so, hoping to win his affection, she tells him of Hermia's plan. That night, all four lovers set out into the forest.

Oberon, king of the fairies, who lives in the woods, has a fight with his queen, Titania, over a boy she refuses to give him. Making their marriage miserable with his queen cheating on him with mortals.

Oberon overhears Helena and Demetrius arguing and sends his mischievous servant, Puck, to get a flower whose juice has the power to make people fall in love with the first creature they see when the juice is placed on their eyelids while asleep.

He instructs Puck to put some drops on all 4 mortals, a donkey & on Titania to make a prank & a lesson to them making all of them to false fall in love with magic to the wrong person, & to his queen to fall in love with the donkey.

Published by Finch Publishing, an imprint of Simon & Schuster.

It's available in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa at the moment. My publishers are looking to potentially open distribution deals with the UK and US, too. But that will come later (they're tight markets to pull from this little corner of the world!).

It can be purchased, as far as I know, from here, in the meantime.

It was only launched at the end of last month. It is based on my diaries. It has recently been endorsed by the Eating Disorders Foundation of Australia.

I am still a little sensitive about the title and cover. I chose neither.

An overgrown courtyard at the West Lawn Building at the now-abandoned Riverview Mental Hospital in Coquitlam, British Columbia. Built in 1913, it was originally named "The Hospital for the Mind at Mount Coquitlam," and housed the most seriously ill male patients transferred from the Provincial Asylum in New Westminster.

The facility finally closed its doors in 1983.

----------------------------

Delusional disorder, previously called paranoid disorder, is a type of serious mental illness called a "psychosis" in which a person cannot tell what is real from what is imagined. The main feature of this disorder is the presence of delusions, which are unshakable beliefs in something untrue. People with delusional disorder experience non-bizarre delusions, which involve situations that could occur in real life, such as being followed, poisoned, deceived, conspired against, or loved from a distance. These delusions usually involve the misinterpretation of perceptions or experiences. In reality, however, the situations are either not true at all or highly exaggerated.

People with delusional disorder often can continue to socialize and function normally, apart from the subject of their delusion, and generally do not behave in an obviously odd or bizarre manner. This is unlike people with other psychotic disorders, who also might have delusions as a symptom of their disorder. In some cases, however, people with delusional disorder might become so preoccupied with their delusions that their lives are disrupted.

For Macro Mondays cloth/textile

Title comes from a poem Robert Herrick wrote in the 17th century:

A sweet disorder in the dress

Kindles in clothes a wantonness:—

A lawn about the shoulders thrown

Into a fine distractión,—

An erring lace, which here and there

Enthrals the crimson stomacher,—

A cuff neglectful, and thereby

Ribbands to flow confusedly,—

A winning wave, deserving note,

In the tempestuous petticoat,—

A careless shoe-string, in whose tie

I see a wild civility,—

Do more bewitch me, than when art

Is too precise in every part.
