The Jakks Pacific Pirate Fairy Tinker Bell 9'' Doll has been squeezed in between the new Disney Store Zarina and Tinker Bell dolls. Also added is the new Disney Parks Princess Snow Globe. Next to it are two Lenox porcelain figurines: Belle's Wedding Dreams and Tink's Glittering Gift. Hanging from the Beast's arm is a Disney Parks Ariel articulated key chain. To make room for the new additions the Vinylmation Anna and Elsa figures have been removed.
All dolls are deboxed, and are all by the Disney Store (except as noted). The following lists all the dolls in this photo, their heights, and the year of the doll's release.

I got the new Moana and Elsa 11 1/2 inch singing dolls today from my local Disney Store. The still don't have the singing Jasmine doll yet. I used my F&F 25% off coupon on the dolls. My store stopped providing plastic shopping bags last week, but I remembered to bring my reusable DS cloth bag today. Here they are boxed, side by side. Moana is in a simplified version of her chieftain outfit, and sings 16 seconds of "How Far I'll Go." Elsa is in her Olaf's Frozen Adventure holiday outfit, and sings 12 seconds of "When We're Together."
I also got the Princess Mulan Tea Ceremony Playset ($29.95) today from my Disney Store. This is available online in the UK, but not in the US yet. My store didn't have the Belle or Anna playsets
yet. It comes with an 11 inch Mulan doll and many accessories.
Here is the UK site's detailed description of the item:

Here are photos I took of the promo placard and display dolls at my local Disney Store today. They were only supposed to display the Cinderella doll (which is actually the second doll to be released). But the manager brought out the Snow White, Jasmine and Ariel dolls from the back so I can see them and take photos. They have not yet received the last two dolls to be released, Tiana and Belle. The placard lists the release dates and photos of the dolls, along with their edition sizes. They will be released one per week on Saturday, starting on October 6, rather than the usual Tuesday. They will start to hand out vouchers starting an hour before store opening and lasting about 30 minutes. They will then announce the winners of the raffle about 20 minutes before store opening, who may then purchase the doll being released that day. The online release will take place at 12:01 AM (Pacific time) on the morning of that same day. Each doll will cost $109.95.
The schedule of releases (for the US and Canada):
Snow White, 10/6/2018, LE 4100

The Frozen Sleigh Wind-Up Toy, which I bought at the Disney Store today, Monday January 5, 2015. It was released today along with many other Frozen merchandise. It is $6.95, which I think is a decent price for this toy. It also has a battery operated sound box, which plays a recorded conversation between Anna and Kristoff as they ride the sleigh. Olaf is hanging on to the back of the sleigh. The wind up mechanism enables the sleigh to move fairly rapidly on a hard flat surface. It is 4 1/2'' long.
Enchanted Rose in Bell Jar, uncovered. The cover is placed next to the rose, which is permanently attached to the base.
Detailed photos of the accessories included with the Beauty and the Beast Deluxe Doll Set. They are all deboxed. They include additional outfits for Belle and the Beast, vinyl figures of the Beast's enchanted staff, a bluebird friend of Belle, Belle's book, the enchanted rose in bell jar, and the enchanted mirror.
Here are detailed photos of the newly released Beauty and the Beast Deluxe Doll Set ($79.95), that I just got from my local Disney Store. The accessory figures look really detailed and well done. In fact, I like Chip better in this set than the one with the new Classic Belle doll. Also the bluebird looks nicer than the one with the new Classic Snow White. Belle and Beast are in their winter outfits. Belle also has her blue peasant outfit and her yellow ball gown. Beast also has his formal outfit. Philippe is way too small, but is a very cute plush. I like this set way better than the ones for Aladdin or Sleeping Beauty.
The Mulan playset has been fully deboxed. They assembled in about the same setup as they were in the box.
I also got the Princess Mulan Tea Ceremony Playset ($29.95) today from my Disney Store. This is available online in the UK, but not in the US yet. My store didn't have the Belle or Anna playsets
yet. It comes with an 11 inch Mulan doll and many accessories.

Weihnachten ist zwar schon längst vorbei... aber das nächste kommt bestimmt xDDDD
(und bei nem Abverkauf kann Frau einfach nicht widerstehen xDDDD )
A fellow collector on Flickr asked about how full the LE Tiana's skirt was. So I made a series of shots, with her skirt shown progressively wider. Tiana was the second doll in the Limited Edition 17 inch doll series, released by the Disney Store in March 2010, and was LE 5000.
Finally I sit her down on the floor, with her legs straight out in front of her. Her multi-layered tulle petticoat is way less than 360 degrees in width, so I place it under her legs. Her yellow satin underskirt isn't quite 360 in width, so doesn't quite lay flat, but is bunched up a little around its perimeter. However her outer skirt layers do lay nicely around her, so it looks like a giant lily pad.

There is now a promo page for the upcoming Disney Fairytale Designer Collection. It is a teaser page, and with a link to the Disney Store blog article INTRODUCING THE DISNEY FAIRYTALE DESIGNER COLLECTION for more information. The page itself has photos of all 5 couples, and release dates. The collection will open for business on August 12, when the entire collection of dolls and related merchandise will be revealed. Also the entire set of 5 couples can be pre-ordered online at that time.
Here is more complete information on the doll, from the Disney Store Blog article:

Each doll measures 11.5”.
Limited to an edition of 6,000 of each of the five couples globally, each Doll Set retails for $129.95 US/$139.95 CAN and £100/€120 UK/EURO, and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.

Holiday Elsa has been fully deboxed. She is standing, supported by the included display stand.
I was surprised that her dress was about a half inch short of floor length. That is probably so that her ice heels can be seen under her dress, when it is pulled tight against her body. Her dress also has a long train, which is hidden when her cape is behind her. Her velvet dress has a deep red satin lining. Her cape has a sheer blue lining. Her cape flows better than those of Snow Queen or Frozen Fever Elsa because it is made from lighter material, and doesn't have any embroidery.
I will compare OFA Elsa with the other 17 inch Elsa dolls soon.
Detailed photos of the Olaf's Frozen Adventure Elsa Limited Edition Doll. I got her from my local Disney Store on release day, Tuesday December 12, 2017, along with Anna. I was the only one waiting for the dolls before the store opened. She is #3818 of 7000.
I like her very much, both her new face and outfit. But she does have a couple of defects. One is that her hair is a bit messy on top, where part of her crown of bangs going the wrong way. The other is that there is a shallow cut on her forehead, that is especially visible when looking straight on in bright lighting. I think of it as a scar from the fight in the ice castle. The nicest thing I've discovered about the doll is that she has dark blue ice heels.
Unlike the comparable dolls Frozen Fever Elsa and Harrods Snow Queen Elsa, OFA Elsa's cape doesn't have any embroidery. The snowflake and icicle patterns are depicted using glued on silver glitter appliques and clear crystals. Her dress does have considerable use of embroidery. I will call her Holiday Elsa since she is in her Christmas outfit.

In this midrange view of the two dolls, the 12 inch doll has been raised several inches so we can more easily compare their faces and upper part of their bodies and outfits.
Here's a side by side comparison of two Disney Store Elena dolls wearing the same outfits. On the left is the Limited Edition 17 inch doll and on the right is the 12 inch singing doll (from the Elena and Isabel singing doll set). They are listed as being 16 inches and 11 inches high by the Disney Store, but they are actually 16.5 and 11.5 inches tall respectively. They both are holding a gold scepter with large blue crystal on top.
They resemble each other very closely, the dolls, their outfits and accessories. But besides being 50% larger, the limited edition doll has much better materials in her outfit and accessories. For instance the LE doll has fully lined satin in her outfit, and the decorations are made from embroidery and gemstones. The singing doll has single ply satin, with the decorations being printed or made of glitter. There is no glitter on the LE doll. Also the LE doll has a tulle petticoat that is missing from the singing doll, and has a full skirt in addition to the decorated overskirt. But both dolls are very pretty and accurate representations of the animated character.
The LE doll lists for $119.95, but is currently being discounted online by 20% to $95.96. The singing doll set lists for $39.95, but is currently being discounted to $22 online and $20 in stores.

Two versions of the Snow White and the Prince Doll Set, from the Disney Fairytale Designer Collection, are compared.
Joining them on the left is the 2011 Limited Edition Designer Snow White Doll from the Disney Princess Designer Collection. She was released online and in stores on September 19, 2011 and purchased online the same day. She is number 3997 of 6000. Behind her is the 2011 Classic Prince doll (as there were no limited edition dolls of the Prince from that year).
In the center is the regular edition Snow White and the Prince dolls, that have outfits closer to being movie accurate, and are a limited edition of 6000 sets. They were released in stores on August 20, 2013, and online the next day. My doll set was purchased in store on release day, and is number 558 of 6000.
On the right is the D23 Expo exclusive Gold Snow White and the Prince dolls, that have special outfits of the same pattern as the regular versions of the dolls, but made of different materials and colors. It was a limited edition of 600 sets. They were released exclusively at the D23 Expo in Anaheim, California on August 8-10, 2013. My dolls were purchased on August 9, 2013, and are numbered 114 of 600.
I've recently purchased the Enchanted Rose and the Belle Ballgown ornament from the Beauty and Beast Broadway Musical. That has inspired me to pose them with some of my favorite pieces from my Beauty and Beast collection. The centerpiece of my collection is the Beauty and the Beast Stained Glass Window Replica.
Also in this photo is the 2013 Classic Belle 12'' doll, the 2011 Classic Beast/Prince 12'' doll (with the Beast head removed), and the Enchanted Rose Glass Sculpture by Arribas.
Today at my local Disney Store I got a bunch of Tangled: The Series merchandise that I didn't get last week. They are all the plush, the Rapunzel tiara, and the Tangled journal. They are all also available online, except for the journal. The medium plush were $19.95, discounted to $16 (for buying 2 or more). The tiara was $14.95, Pascal was $9.95 and the journal was $16.95. I also got an additional 15% off with my D23 coupon. I was surprised that Maximus was shorter than Fidella, as they are both listed as 16 inches high. All the plush are very nicely constructed and very cute (even Flynn). I will post more detailed photos shortly.
Fidella Plush - Tangled: The Series - Medium - 16''
Maximus Plush - Tangled: The Series - Medium - 16''
Cassandra Plush Doll - Tangled the Series - Medium - 19''
Rapunzel Plush Doll - Tangled the Series - Medium - 19''

I got some Disney goodies in the mail today. I got all four of the separately sold Classic Frozen dolls from the Disney Store: Anna, Elsa, Kristoff and Hans. I got them because my local store sold out of the new Hans in his Coronation outfit, and I was afraid of him selling out online as well before I could get him. Plus they had a 2 or more for $11 sale going on. The boxes were a bit scratched up, but no major dents, which doesn't matter much to me since I will eventually debox them all.
Minnie has been fully deboxed, and is reposed in her display stand.
Here are detailed photos of the 2018 Minnie Mouse Rock the Dots Limited Edition Signature Doll. I picked her up in person at my local Disney Store on release day, Monday January 22, 2018, which is also National Polka Dot Day in the US. She is also available online in the US and European Disney Store websites. She is the sixth Signature Minnie doll to be released by the Disney Store, but the first Signature Minnie doll that I have bought for my collection. She is #2405 of 6000.
She is 11 inches tall to the top of her head, or 12 inches to the top of her ears. She has rooted hair and eyelashes, and her ears are covered in her hair. She has a rocker style outfit, with black faux leather jacket, white shirt, red double layer tulle skirt with silver glitter dots, and a red satin underskirt. She is wearing black leggings, and faux suede boots. She had molded white plastic gloves, large red cloth bow, and red plastic rimmed sunglasses. She also has a black purse hanging from her left wrist. She comes in a designer style case, with black plastic base, clear acrylic cover, with a black and white polka dot background. She also comes with a cardboard slipcover.
Here are some observations I made after deboxing her. She can free stand very stably. I also managed to get her in a running stance without using a stand. I decided to leave the jacket tacked to her shirt, and her shades sewn to her hair. Her purse has a metal snap closure, and opens like a real purse. She has a black body below her head. She has 11 points of articulation: ball jointed neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips and knees, although some of her joints have limited freedom of movement. Her hair ears have black rubber bands around the base of the ears, and are very neatly bound, with no unsightly nubs sticking out.

I took some photos of the the Minnie Mouse Signature Limited Edition Doll and associated merchandise displayed at my local Disney Store today. She will be released on National Polka Dot Day, Monday January 22, 2018. She is the sixth Minnie Mouse Signature LE Doll produced by the Disney Store so far. While supplies last. Limited quantities. Limit 1 per Guest.
There are additional photos of the dolls in the Disney Facebook article that also came out today (Nov 1, 2013): FIRST LOOK: Limited Edition Anna & Elsa Dolls.
Cinderella, 10/13/2018, LE 4400
Jasmine, 10/20/2018, LE 4000
Ariel, 10/27/2018, LE 4500

Deboxing the set.
I got the Ariel and Eric 'Kiss the Girl' playset yesterday (Tuesday October 23) from my local Disney Store. It came out in the UK about three weeks ago, and I have been anxiously waiting for it to arrive in the US since then. It is in some stores in the US, but not online in the US ShopDisney site yet. It costs $59.95 (twice as much as the previous Classic Disney Doll playsets that came out this year), and is in a huge box. It has Ariel and Eric in a rowboat, with fishes and Flounder spouting water around them. There is also a Sebastian figure, and two more outfits for Ariel (mermaid and pink). I show the set boxed, during deboxing, and fully deboxed in various configurations. I put the set in front of the background formed by the inner box, and finally rebox the set.
Ariel is sporting her blue kingdom tour dress, and finally has her hair parted in the correct side of her head (on her left). She also has some heavily gelled bangs on her right side reminiscent of Snow Queen Elsa's crown of bangs.
Eric is in white shirt and blue pants, with black boots. He is remarkable in that he is the first Classic Prince doll to be fully articulated. He has the same body as Li Shang and Flynn Rider of the 2017 Disney Designer Collection limited edition doll sets. So he has a swivel jointed neck, and ball jointed elbows, wrists, hips, knees and ankles. He can also sit without splaying his legs. As with most Prince dolls, he has a smaller head than his Princess, Ariel, which looks strange when they are side by side.
The boat can be separated from the base, consisting of the plastic water and fish. The oars can be separated from the boat. Sebastian can free stand, or can be inserted into peg at the bow of the boat.
This is a great set, and I think is worth the cost. The only problem is to find a place to put it, especially if it is out of the box.

The three Limited Edition Ball Gown Belle 17 inch dolls that Disney Store has produced are shown together side by side. They are the animated Belle from 2010 (#4401 of 5000), the animated Belle from 2016 (#107 of 500), who was part of the platinum set with the Beast, and the live action Belle from 2017 (#477 of 5500). They have been completely deboxed, and are supported by their included display stands. I put the 2010 doll between the other two because she is slightly taller and her gown isn't as full.
Doll: 2010 Disney Store Classic Belle Doll Dress/Gloves/Hair-Tie: 2007 Disney Store Belle and Friends Doll Earrings: Barbie Earrings Attached With Hot Glue
Oh, Old DisneyStore.
I got both of these dolls at thrift stores. (the dresses have been switched around, so ignore that.) The one on the left was DisneyStore's Sleeping Beauty before the Friends line came in and gave everyone a makeover, and the one on the right was their original one. Everyone had the exact same face in that original line, just with different lipstick/eye color, and it's kinda creepy.
Neither of them look like Sleeping Beauty, but I think I prefer the one on the left, just because she doesn't look so generic.

I cropped the original square photo to a 4:3 aspect ratio, as there was a lot of dead space above and below the dolls. So now the dolls are larger in the photo, and it works better as a screen saver/desktop background.

Reboxing Belle. First I secure her stand to the red carpet stage by wire. Then I place the stage back into the inner box.
Belle is now fully deboxed. She is standing, supported by her included display stand. For some of the last photos, I decided to reverse the purse to show the rose rather than the lion. Also I placed the outer skirt a little to the left of where it was in the box pose, to show off her legs.
Deboxing Belle. After I removed the rubber band securing the purse chain to her shoulder, I had to use tape to keep it from slipping off of her shoulder (same as with Ariel's purse). Her dress is tight around her hips and legs, so I had to undo it in the back (as well as the outer skirt) in order to pull out the display stand. It was also hard to put the stand back on her. The bracelets are solid rings, so cannot be removed unless you pop off her hands, which I did not try to do.
I was lucky enough to get Belle at the Disney Store today. There was about 70 people entered in the raffle, the most of any release in the series, so I was surprised and happy that I got picked. She is the sixth and final Premiere Series doll to be released. She is #1132 of 4500. I now have all six of the dolls, all gotten first hand, and am glad that the releases are finally over.
I love Belle's face and hair, her Beast purse and her jewelry, but her dress isn't one of my favorites from this series. My doll has some stains on her face, that look like stray hair product. I will clean them off when I debox her. Some strands of her earrings were stuck in her hair, that I freed when I took all the covers off the doll box.

Here are all three of the recently released Disney Store Feature Dolls, Ariel, Rapunzel and Elsa. They are new 16 inch singing Princess dolls for 2015. They not only sing, but each also comes with an accessory and have other special features. They also come in a sturdy reusable box with a satin carrying handle. They are available online and in stores in North America, and cost $49.95 each.
I will debox all the dolls, beginning with Rapunzel, who I think is the most impressive doll in the line, and the most different from previous singing dolls of the same character.
Rapunzel's inner box slides out from the bottom, not the top of the box. First you have to detach the "try me" switch from the front window by undoing two layers of tape. Once freed from the tape, it can be pushed back through a hole in the box to fall inside the box. The other end of the switch plugs into a socket in the back of the doll, and is detachable once the doll is deboxed. Once the "try me" switch is detached, you trigger the sound and lights by sliding the lantern back and forth a little way along her hand. There is a LED light in the palm of her hand that flickers while she is singing, and lights up the lantern. She sings about 35 seconds of the "Healing Incantation" song very clearly and just the right volume. The sound is better than any previous DS singing doll that I have heard. The gentleness of the song, with accompanying lights, and the beauty of the doll, makes for a very moving experience. I don't think I will get tired of hearing the song and seeing the lights on this doll.
Ariel Deluxe Feature Doll - 18'' H
Side by side comparison of the the Live Action Wedding Jasmine (2019, LE 750) versus the Animated Wedding Jasmine (2015, LE 250) Limited Edition 17 inch dolls. Both by the Disney Store. They are fully deboxed, and are supported by their included display stands.
