Designer Rapunzel Hair Compared. From left to right 2011 Designer Princess (14.5 inches), 2013 Designer Fairytale (15.5 inches), 2017 Designer Collection (24.5 inches), 2015 Designer H&V (17 inches). 2013 Rapunzel has braided hair, which when straightened out would probably be 17 inches long. Each successive Designer Rapunzel has had longer hair than the previous version.
Finally... the last couple in the set yay! I was kinda hesitant to buy them but the moment I saw them in person... I couldn't resist not buying them. They're too beautiful! My wallet hurts right now... I don't think I'll be able to buy some LE dolls for a while lol.
Just a quick piccy to show my FABULOUS new Designer Heroes and Villains Maleficent LE doll, which arrived this morning. Yay !! ... She is FAR too stunning for words !! <3 <3 <3
I was so pleased when I found this doll for sale individually, because to be honest, she was the only one I wanted from the set. I'm not so keen on the Aurora she was originally boxed with (Sorry to the Aurora fans).
But anyway ...
Look how amazing she appears when posed properly, so that you can actually SEE all the drama and details of those sleeves. Stunning !! ... And almost a crime that they squished her in a box with another doll, because this costume deserves to be shown off, hehehe :p ;)
She has now found a home pride of place on my tv where I can see her every day :).

I've created an illustrated chronology of Disney 17 inch Limited Edition doll releases by year, from 2009 to 2016. It includes dolls for characters from Disney Princess and Alice movies, both animated and live action. All dolls were produced and sold by the Disney Store, except for the Disney Parks dolls of Aurora (Disneyland Resort, 2015), and Snow White (Shanghai Disney Resort, 2016). All photos were taken by me of dolls in my collection, except for the Platinum Mad Hatter and Alice Doll Set (which are my photos of another doll collector's dolls). Dolls that were sold in sets are shown in separate images.
I've placed my fully deboxed Rags Snow White LE Doll on my desktop, in a temporary position, right next to my computer keyboard. She is among both 17 and 12 inch dolls, all representing characters from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Once I debox the newly released Evil Queen and the Prince, I will rearrange the display.
uuuf we have to take another one,the girls all complained about the bad lighting and their messed up hair..also princess aurora got distracted and rapunzel was waving to a fan that sneaked in during our photo session.
Here is my collection of all 17'' Limited Edition dolls produced by Disney for characters from Disney Princess movies, plus Alice in Wonderland, as of January 2, 2017. I am only missing the Platinum Alice and Mad Hatter Limited Edition Doll Set from having a complete collection. There are a total of 53 of these dolls released so far, including the Harrods versions of Anna, Elsa and Aurora. There are nine more dolls in my collection since the last group photo I did on November 11, 2015, up to 51 from 42. Since I am putting them in the same area as the previous group photo, I've had to squeeze in more dolls per row, so they look a bit crowded.
They are ordered roughly by release date, but also related dolls are placed next to each other. So for instance all the Cinderella dolls are together, and the same for the Frozen dolls. Included are the live action Cinderella dolls, and the Alice Through the Looking Glass dolls (Alice and Red Queen). Also included are the limited edition Disney Parks dolls: the Disneyland 60th Anniversary Limited Edition Aurora Doll and the Shanghai Disney Resort Grand Opening Limited Edition Snow White Doll. The dolls include the accessories that originally came with them (except for Kristoff's mandolin).
Here is a list of all the dolls, from top (row 1) to bottom (row 4).

Belle : The doll is from the 2011 Classic Film Doll Collection. I changed her outfit with the 2010 Classic Belle Doll and add in more ruffles. I also curled her hair as she originally came with long straight hair.
Beast : The doll's head is the new mold and the body is the 2010 Classic Beast Doll body with full articulation. He is wearing the 2010 classic doll's shirt, vest, pants, boots, and the new doll's tux that I removed the beast's hands and tail.

The three Limited Edition Ball Gown Belle 17 inch dolls that Disney Store has produced are shown together side by side. They are the animated Belle from 2010 (#4401 of 5000), the animated Belle from 2016 (#107 of 500), who was part of the platinum set with the Beast, and the live action Belle from 2017 (#477 of 5500). They have been completely deboxed, and are supported by their included display stands. I put the 2010 doll between the other two because she is slightly taller and her gown isn't as full.
