I had been putting of buying Kylo Ren after getting Finn and Rey, but with the release of the mask-less version I couldn't help having him. I really loved all the characters in the new movie, but Kylo's going to have to do a lot to win that love back. XP
Here are detailed photos of the newly released Beauty and the Beast Deluxe Doll Set ($79.95), that I just got from my local Disney Store. I show the set boxed, and with the contents removed from the box, but still attached to the backing. I will debox the set this weekend. The accessory figures look really detailed and well done. In fact, I like Chip better in this set than the one with the new Classic Belle doll. Also the bluebird looks nicer than the one with the new Classic Snow White. Belle and Beast are in their winter outfits. Belle also has her blue peasant outfit and her yellow ball gown. Beast also has his formal outfit. Philippe is way too small, but is a very cute plush. I like this set way better than the ones for Aladdin or Sleeping Beauty.
I tried to maintain control, and only bought 4 plush toys. But they are pretty adorable, I may have to complete the set soon. ^_^
Here's each of the Disney Princesses represented by a selected Disney Store Limited Edition 17 inch doll in my collection. I include Anna, Elsa, Moana and Elena, although they are not officially part of the Disney Princess franchise. They are ordered by the release date of their original animated feature (or TV series in the case of Elena). They are all fully deboxed, and are supported by their included display stands.
List of dolls and their movies:
Snow White (2009, 250/5000) from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937)
Cinderella (2012, 2955/5000) from Cinderella (1950)
Harrods Pink Aurora (2014, 32/100) from Sleeping Beauty (1959)
Ariel (2013, 1633/6000) from The Little Mermaid (1989)
Platinum Ball Gown Belle (2016, 107/500) from Beauty and the Beast (1991)

Harrods Snow Queen Elsa (2013, 39/100) from Frozen (2013)

Elena of Avalor (2017, 1375/6000) from Elena of Avalor (2016)
Here is a lineup of the Disney Store versus Hasbro live action Beauty and Beast dolls. I only show one version of the Hasbro ball gown Belle dolls, the Enchanted Ball Gown Belle, as it is superior to the singing and Enchanted Romance Belle dolls. In general, the Disney Store dolls are more realistic and accurate, and have better quality outfits. The Gaston doll is only made by the Disney Store, and only Hasbro has the Winter Belle, and Celebration Belle and Prince dolls.
Here are the official Disney Princesses, plus Anna and Elsa, as Disney Store Limited Edition 17 Inch Dolls. They are lined up in order of the release dates of their original animated features, from front to back and left to right. With the recent addition of Pocahontas, we are only missing Mulan from having a complete set of LE Princess dolls.
The dolls are Snow White (2009), Cinderella (2012), Harrods Pink Aurora (2014), Ariel (2013), Platinum Belle (2016), Red Jasmine (2015), Pocahontas (2018), Tiana (2010), Rapunzel (2011), Celebration Merida (2012) , Harrods Anna and Elsa (2013).

Here's a collage I did of the in box photos I took the first four dolls to be released. They are in order of their release (of the dolls, not their movies). This is what they would look like if they were displayed side by side without their outer boxes.
Here are photos I took of the promo placard and display dolls at my local Disney Store today. They were only supposed to display the Cinderella doll (which is actually the second doll to be released). But the manager brought out the Snow White, Jasmine and Ariel dolls from the back so I can see them and take photos. They have not yet received the last two dolls to be released, Tiana and Belle. The placard lists the release dates and photos of the dolls, along with their edition sizes. They will be released one per week on Saturday, starting on October 6, rather than the usual Tuesday. They will start to hand out vouchers starting an hour before store opening and lasting about 30 minutes. They will then announce the winners of the raffle about 20 minutes before store opening, who may then purchase the doll being released that day. The online release will take place at 12:01 AM (Pacific time) on the morning of that same day. Each doll will cost $109.95.
The schedule of releases (for the US and Canada):
Snow White, 10/6/2018, LE 4100
Cinderella, 10/13/2018, LE 4400

My first reroot is now completed, I think the result is good, and this Aliexpress hair is excellent, very smooth and silky.
Here is an illustrated chart of all the Disney Store Designer Collection doll releases so far, from 2011 to 2017. I also include the Minnie Signature series, as they are in very similar packaging as the Disney Designer releases. All the images are by me of dolls in my collection, except for the Minnie dolls and the D23 Incredibles doll set, none of which I possess (by choice). This past year was very unusual, as there were an equal number D23 exclusive sets as the regularly released sets. In addition the latter were poor sellers, that had to be discounted before selling out in stores, and three of the five are still available online as of 12/31/2017.
I've recently purchased the Enchanted Rose and the Belle Ballgown ornament from the Beauty and Beast Broadway Musical. That has inspired me to pose them with some of my favorite pieces from my Beauty and Beast collection. The centerpiece of my collection is the Beauty and the Beast Stained Glass Window Replica.
Also in this photo is the 2011 Designer Princess Belle 12'' doll, the 2013 Designer Fairytale Belle and the Beast Doll Set, the ''Belle's Wedding Dreams'' porcelain figure by Lenox, the Enchanted Rose Glass Sculpture by Arribas, and a Belle mini figurine by Zizzle.
never did this, something new hahah....aurora and maleficent finally made an appearance after 7 weeks of bump in the road...they travelled extensively around europe before finally coming to asia !! it was a bit frustrating tracking them...alls well ends well :)
Belle : The doll is from the 2011 Classic Film Doll Collection. I changed her outfit with the 2010 Classic Belle Doll and add in more ruffles. I also curled her hair as she originally came with long straight hair.
Beast : The doll's head is the new mold and the body is the 2010 Classic Beast Doll body with full articulation. He is wearing the 2010 classic doll's shirt, vest, pants, boots, and the new doll's tux that I removed the beast's hands and tail.

Introducing the Aladdin and Jafar Limited Edition Dolls inspired by the Disney classic animated feature Aladdin. Available In-Store 10/13 & Online 10/14. $119.95 US $129.95
Jafar – Edition size – 2500
Disney Store is proud to present the Limited Edition Jafar Doll inspired by the scheming villain from the Disney classic animated feature Aladdin. The intricately detailed, beautifully designed doll captures Jafar’s elegant evil in every sumptuous detail. Never one to deny himself any luxury, the greedy sorcerer wears rich robes lavishly adorned with black embroidery, a swirling black cape lined in red, and a high turban adorned with a feather and gleaming red gem. A sculpted Iago perches on Jafar’s shoulder. Jafar wields a metallic gold snake staff set with ominously glowing red gem eyes. With his air of magnificent menace, this Jafar doll is a perfect complement to the Limited Edition Jasmine and Aladdin Dolls, and adds a touch of villainous vibrancy to any collection.
Aladdin – Edition size - 3500
Disney Store is proud to present the Limited Edition Aladdin Doll inspired by the bold, independent spirit of Aladdin from the Disney classic animated feature Aladdin. This handsome doll captures Aladdin’s masculine good looks in every meticulous detail. The daring young hero is dressed to win Jasmine’s heart. Rich, intricate gold metallic embroidery embellishes his belt, vest and pants patches. A soft fez sits at a jaunty angle on Aladdin’s thick wavy hair and he brandishes a metallic scimitar set with red gems that glow like a tiger’s eyes. A sculpted figure of Abu the monkey, Aladdin’s best friend, looks as if he’s about to spring to life to make some mischief. A true “diamond in the rough,” Aladdin’s courage and determination are captured in this doll, making it the perfect companion to the Jasmine Limited Edition Dolls and a treasured addition to any collection.

Side by side comparison of the Classic versus the Limited Edition Moana Dolls. They are free standing side by side, hold their oars.
They were both released by the Disney Store this year. The Classic doll is 11 inches tall and costs $19.95. The LE doll is 16 inches tall and costs $119.95. They are very similar, but the LE doll is made of better materials, has more articulation, is more accurate to the movie character, has a more detailed outfit, with the addition of a leaf and flower crown, leafy arm band, leafy ankle bands, a beaded necklace with a pendant that opens, and the sidekicks Pua and Hei Hei, who can free stand atop a sandy base.
Here's my review of the LE Moana Doll.
She has mock sand on her feet, and there is also sand on the base for Pua. Somewhat like glitter, the sand does shed, and found its way on the sides of the box, and on the doll itself. Some of the sand on the tips of her toes also got rubbed off.
Moana has a unique body, but is fully articulated. She has ball jointed neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees and ankles. Instead of the chest joint that are on most of the female Disney Store 17 inch LE dolls, Moana has a waist pivot joint that allows her upper torso to spin around 360 degrees. This is similar to the Designer Princess waist joint, but is lower down her back, just above her butt. That is doubtless due to her bare midriff. With large her flat feet, Moana can free stand very stably. But I think that some of her joints are a little too loose, especially her waist joint.
Her body proportions are also unique for a Disney LE doll, but that is due to those of the animated character herself. In particular, her arms and legs are thicker than the other LE Princess dolls. Rather than the flat hands of the other LE Princess dolls, Moana has curved hands, which I think look more natural. Her face is very pretty and a very good likeness of the animated character. She has thick eyebrows, big brown eyes glancing to her upper right. She has short painted eyelashes, but no rooted eyelashes (like the LE Merida dolls). She has a large flat nose, and full dark brown lips in a closed mouth smile.
She has dark brown wavy hair that has a lot of hair product, so it feels a bit crunchy. Some of her hair was actually stuck to the plastic support, her body and her clothes, due to the hair product not being fully dry when she was assembled. There was also some bits of tissue paper stuck to her hair.
She has a garland of cloth leaves and plastic flowers on her head, It is permanently attached to her head. There are plastic leafy bands around her left arm and both ankles. The arm band was rather loose, and I had to keep on moving it back up her arm. I think it could use a rubber band to keep it tight, which I don't think I accidently cut when deboxing her. Her ankle bands did have rubber bands around them. She has a beaded plastic necklace with a shell pendant that opens. I removed the large rubber band around her upper chest and the plastic support that kept the pendent attached to her top. But I left the rubber bands that kept the upper part of the necklace in place. She has an short satin orange top with white beaded decoration. There is a matching belt or sash around her hips, over her skirt. Her skirt has two woven layers, with a straw underskirt.
Pua is very stable on the sand dune base (and there are indentations in the base to show where to place him). Hei Hei can free stand on Pua's head, but you have to place him very carefully, using the indentations on Pua's head as a guide. He can also be made secure by a rubberband around Pua's head and over Hei Hei's feet.
Moana's oar is placed on her left side in the box, but the way the handle is formed on the oar, it fits most easily on her right hand (to our left when she faces us).
I just bought the newly released 12 inch singing dolls from my local Disney Store. They are not yet available online. They had Aurora (as Briar Rose), Belle (in her Winter outfit) and Anna (in her Coronation outfit). They are $19.95 each, and have the same packaging as the Ariel, Cinderella, Elsa, Jasmine and Moana singing dolls released in 2018. They sing for about 15 seconds when you twist their left hand (to your right as you face them). Aurora sings 'Once Upon a Dream' acapella, Belle sings 'Something There' acapella and Anna sings 'Love Is an Open Door' with musical accompaniment.
Here are photos I took of the promo placard and display dolls at my local Disney Store today. They were only supposed to display the Cinderella doll (which is actually the second doll to be released).
