This picture represents direct lighting well because the light source cannot be seen. Also it is clear that the object is only lit from one side because the other side is dark.

We developed a new marine rub rail that installed simpler and looked better than current products on the market. We named the product VirginRail and launched it through a direct mail campaign that resulted in a 19% response rate. The direct mail coincided with an industry trade show promotion that drove traffic to the booth for a free t-shirt advertising the product and a giveaway promotion. The show was a huge success with hundreds of free advertisements roaming the show.
