Vollenda made a giant dictionary page for the "word" digitize. She wanted to clearly explain the work she does in digital imaging with old photographic mediums. Kwanon was supposed to take the shot but complained he couldn't work with the dark board. Vollenda, however, thinks he was just reminded of when he was a young Camera in trouble in school, and teachers made him write page after page straight out of the dictionary.

This is the guts of a Calcomp digitizer stylus. Check out the gold, painted on, traces that connect the boards to some of the peripheral components. This picture is a composite of 3 separate scans.
