I spotted this heron perched up high on a tree branch at Cootes Paradise (RBG) either drying off or cooling off as it was a hot day. I found its stance being quite unusual from that of other birds, which simply stretch out their wings, and thought I would place it on a beach as just another "sun worshiper". Herons are known to frequent both fresh and salt open water and marshes and as such it only adds more credence for not being too far fetched an idea. I hope this image doesn't offend due to the devastation currently incurred in the Caribbean Islands and the coast of the United States but rather to be looked at as a humorous note on an otherwise unusual bird stance. The image of the beach is from a 2009 vacation in Cuba.

I figured the scariest Halloween image I could come up with was my own physiognomy. Of course, I did have to give myself a bit of a run through Photoshop Elements and load a bunch of layers and stuff on top of it, and at no time did I have any idea what the final product would look like; and the only reason I quit was because I ran out of time, or who knows what this would have ended up looking like? Anyway, it was fun, and that's all I care about.

In my dreams, I can be other people. I have dreamt myself to be a different female with a different life than my own, a ten-year-old boy swimming in a lake, middle-aged male fighting zombies. To name the few people I've become in my dream. I have no control in who I become in these dreams. I merge into a new, different person in these dreams with different lives.

Often when I dream about being someone else in my dreams they are somewhat lucid. I am more able to recognizes I am dreaming so than I can control my action in my dreams. Whenever I have dreamed as someone else, I do not read into the meaning of those dreams. I enjoy most of my dream as they are entertaining or thrilling.
