I can't believe that this old bus is still on the road. It reminded me of the days of hippie's and flower children.

Bears are on the move, and at night can be seen tiptoeing through the forest that surrounds our cabin.

Only one week left until Christmas Eve. Are your cookies ready for Santa? Are your presents wrapped? Do you have all you need for Christmas dinner? Is the eggnog chilling in the refrigerator? If you answered 'yes" to all of my questions - then you will probably be sitting all cozy in a scene similar to the one I have created in this photo. 🎀

I couldn't think of a reason why I should post an image of just one...
Combining two images of the same "Downy woodpecker"

Golden Gull or Golden Girl? This waterscape scene was shot at the Ponce De Leon Historical Park in Punta Gorda, Florida. It is a mecca for sunset lovers and plumed bird watchers alike.
Obvioiusly, I'm still having fun using my photographs as the foundation for creating composites (hopefully others besides me will view it as an artistic expression). This composite was created using the original scene shot on the shoreline of Charlotte Harbor in the Ponce De Leon Historical Park in Punta Gorda, Florida (sans the kayak and seagulls). The kayak/kayaker and all of the seagulls were royalty free downloads (my thanks to those photographers!). However, the boat in the background was part of the original scene.

The lake is still in the process of thawing, but it looked pretty in the early morning light - dead weeds and all.
These are the kind of shots I enjoy putzing around with in Photoshop on a gloomy day.
A combination of 3 images taken on the same day... horse...fence...tree. The fence was used to create a higher elevation for the foreground (horse) by placing it half way up the frozen tree canopy. The camera settings shown are of the tree.
When I spotted this old dock - I thought of all of the scary ghost stories that could be woven around it. Bet my Flickr friends could come up with some dandies.

This image shows what it looks like each morning, when Doc trudges out at around eight AM to fill the bird feeders. Doc must be constantly aware of his surroundings, as we currently have several moose, and a few coyotes' roaming through the forest. We are hoping that most of the bears are denned up for the winter - but there is always a straggler or two still looking for their winter home.

I used several processes to create this "Doc" image - starting with Wombo, and then adding my own touches with other photo software I have in my collection.
