A composite of two images

Come walk with me

Along the sea

Where dusk sits on the land

And search with me

For shells are free,

And treasures hide in sand.

I captured this photo in Haines Alaska, as storm clouds swirled over the mountains leading to a torrential downpour.

Yet another rippled image from a photo of the giant glass canopy over Pike street at the 7th Avenue entrance to the convention center.

A combination of 3 images taken on the same day... horse...fence...tree. The fence was used to create a higher elevation for the foreground (horse) by placing it half way up the frozen tree canopy. The camera settings shown are of the tree.

Initially I contemplated a minimalist approach with just the bird on the lamp post... but going through my images of water reflections I felt this is a good fill for the negative space.

I watched as the sea lion's hauled their huge bodies from the sea, and then barked at each other as they fought for the most comfortable place upon the rugged rocks.

With the beat up buoy covered by gull's in the background - it looked like a floating birthday cake, with the sea lions singing the birthday song.

(Yes, I know I have a weird imagination.)

On exhibit some years back at the RBG (Royal Botanical Gardens), I'm still thankful of the piece of glass between us... one of the deadliest East African snakes. Slight manipulation and cropping.
