Rippled photo of a hallway where I thought I saw something during a night terror type of dream state.

It's snowing and blowing out there, so it seemed only right to create something in monochrome for Sliders Sunday. HSS!
Thank you so much for your views and comments, much appreciated! Have a wonderful day!
I put a simple prompt in Wombo, and then added layers and elements from my other photo software, to achieve the photo you see above. With a high temperature of 13 degrees - it has been a fun way to while away some time this afternoon.
With "termination dust" on the mountains - (the first snow on the mountains that announces the start of winter in Alaska) - the golden glow of the sunset bathes our bench and fire ring in sunlight one last time, before we put them under cover for the winter. HSS!
Not a window was broken
And the paint wasn’t peeling
Not a porch step sagged -
Yet, there was a feeling
That beyond the door
And into the hall
This was the house of
No one at all.
No one who breathed
Nor laughed, nor ate
Nor said “I love,”
Nor said “I hate.”
Yet something walked
Along the stair
Something that was
And wasn’t there.
And that is why weeds
On the path grow high,
And even the moon
Races fearfully by –
For something walks
Along the stair -
Something that is
And isn't there.

All images within each image are my own. All heron and egrets shots are taken on the RBG grounds at Cootes Paradise or Dufferin Islands in Niagara Falls.
This flight sequence taken at Cootes Paradise has been placed on a background composed of two overlapping motion blurred and stretched images of autumn colours which I often use for texture. The top layer is at 50% density to reveal the bottom layer.
Happy Sunday Sliders
Hello There!
This is a Prairie Crocus, a prairie wildflower that blooms in late April-early May, so they won't be out for awhile. Being that it is too early to hunt for them, I found an image to share from my Spring 2018 Archives. Post processing was done with Adobe Elements 15 and Topaz Studio.
Thanks a million for stopping by and for your comments. I do love hearing from you! Have a fantastic day!

An image taken in Toronto on a dismal gray day.
To brighten it up I removed the facade of the building to the right, replaced the sky with one where colors are more complimentary and cleaned and pushed the contrast to create a more vibrant effect.
Hello All!
Last week, I took a drive out of the city and tooled around on a few country roads. The hedgerow of trees caught my attention so out came the camera. The ground was still frozen and topped with ice. I couldn't help but choose this effect from Topaz Studio to create fiery trees to contrast with the ice (and maybe even melt it lol).
Happy Sliders Sunday! HSS!
Migratory Note: I've spotted a Red-tailed Hawk, Merlin Falcon, and Dark-eyed Juncos.
Thanks a bunch for viewing and for your comments. I do love hearing from you! Have a wonderful day!

With sub-zero temperatures predicted for the next couple of weeks - I am waiting for the day that our boreal forest welcomes spring flowers. Until then, I'll see them in my dreams.
