This picture shows diffuse lighting on a flower. You can tell where the light is coming from but there is not distinct shadows cast.
Testing out a DIY red diffuser on my new flash, made it out of red packing foam from a motherboard at work and an elastic band. The only light source was the flash in this shot.
Tests with an ND4 filter on a Voigtlander 25mm lens as wide as it can go, some shots are with a legacy pivotable strobe (sunpak auto-25sr) and the others are using sunshine.
The ND4 filter darkens the light coming into the lens allowing a lot more bokeh than would normally be possible at these bright levels of light.
Oslo's parliament building. I found myself in Oslo for the day on Monday this week. No time to muck around - first flight in, work, meeting, train, last flight out.
This was a snapshot taken as we hurried past on our way to the train station for the airport express train.

I wanted her to look like she was IN the water she was trying to touch to no avail. Poor thing was stuck on a rock in the blazing sun.
I took this with my Pentax K-1000 with the 50mm prime lens and sky filter. 100 speed Agfa film. I developed the film and print myself. Even made the "seaweed" like diffusers outta plastic wrap and packing tape all by my lonesome. It was kinda funny cause in the dark room the kids kept asking "Mary, can I borrow that diffusy thingy you made?" hehehehe!
I don't really like the way she scanned- will have to play with trills scanner later to see if I can make it work better.
An example of a "product" shot taken using the diffuser and the waning overcast light from our kitchen window. The white background is a roll of "Foamie" material.
This photo represents diffuse lighting because it isn't obvious where the contrast of shadows is coming from. the light is everywhere lightly on the picture.
