I have not been out shooting for some time, just can't take the heat this summer! Trying to rekindle my excitement about getting out now that it's beginning to cool off. I thought editing this oldie would get the fire going.
Another detail of a clever lighting system, that is intregrated into the ceiling of Museum Voorlinden, The Hague.

Cave nebula, or sh2-155, is a diffuse nebula in the constellation Cepheus, within a larger nebula complex containing emission, reflection, and dark nebulosity. Sh2-155 is an ionized H II region with ongoing star formation activity, at an estimated distance of 2400 light-years from Earth.

Description: Here is another Vertorama from Saturday morning’s misty sunrise. It’s not nearly as dramatic as the first one that I processed from that morning, but in my opinion the soft diffused light and gorgeous pastel dawn colours easily make up for it.
Gosh, this D300 takes incredibly beautiful photographs!! Just look at the detail and clarity in those foreground pebbles… too gorgeous for words!!

Four 580EXIIs, each with a 1/2 CTO, each firing through a Stofen dome diffuser, all firing through a 60 shoot through umbrella, all triggered with one PW PlusII, camera right.
a DIY Macro diffuser thats been a better idea than my other card one lol, its a thin white plastic bowl, i cut a hole in the bottom and the Raynox lens holds it tightly in place.
Cheap too :-)
Low tide was at noon in Portugal when we were there, the worst time for photography. However, I promised myself to go for these great waders. An alternative title could be "please, some water.. "
I got a question from someone about the blurred background: Trust me, no artificial blurring or whatsoever. Just some sharpening and colorcorrection.
