Class Dr20 diesel electric locomotive number 29009 has delivered the first batch of tanker wagons to Yara's factory in Ruokosuo. After brief wait at the Siilinjärvi station the locomotive is speeding along the beautiful sceneries of spring.

In een fraai avondlicht passeert IRP 2101 met een goed beladen Port-shuttle Tilburg Reeshof, onderweg naar Kijfhoek.

Empty freight train from Jyväskylä to Alavus passes Haapamäki while the golden hour has started. The path is clear, but soon, it is filled with shadows, which is the first sings of the upcoming night.

The rail line between the big city of Kuopio and the quiet and small Kurkimäki station is known from its steep hill that termites all the way up to Kurkimäki. It is very usual that heavy freight train found themselves being stuck on it, which was a close call, a timber train coming from Siilinjärvi with two class Dv12s. For a couple of minutes, the duo fought against the steep climb while the "Voith" cooling system of the leading locomotive roars like hawk. As the tracks of Kurkimäki are reached, the locomotives can breathe a sigh of relief as been surrounded by colourful surroundings of pure Finnish nature.
