A parachute is a device used to slow the motion of an object through an atmosphere by creating drag. Parachutes are made out of cloth. A few more items placed on the device. Mostly I wanted to do this as a trial piece to test out the best way to do the goggles. I was going to solder them, but the large pieces of metal proved to be a royal pain in the ass to get to solder with good connections, so I had to fall back on lots of super glue and hot glue.
