Caught a lovely scene with kites cross crossing the sky against a beautiful sky and treeline. The seemed so foreign to the sky and i nearly cropped them out but it made for a lovely distraction as they glided back and forth into the frame I decided they had to stay!. Apparently the kite is an ancient device that is believed to have been invented in China by two philosophers in the fifth century B.C. named Mo Di and Luc Ban.
That large old tractor tyre makes a fine framing device for my little landscape. I moved my camera slightly so that I could catch that lovely hill and row of trees in the background. The skies are still very heavy from all the rain.

Nicht nur ich als Fotograf, sondern auch die Kohlmeise hat sich für Neues interessiert und sich der Gefahr des Neuen ausgesetzt. Ich hatte nur die Gefahr, dass sich die Tiere vor dem sonderbaren Gerät fürchten und meiden. Die Tiere wittern möglicherweise aber dahinter eine Falle, in der sie gefangen werden. Dem Mutigen, hier eine Kohlmeise, gehört die Welt, bzw. das bereit gelegte Futter.
Dare something new
Not only I as a photographer, but also the great tit was interested in new things and exposed to the danger of the new. I had only the danger that the animals are afraid of the strange device and avoid. However, the animals possibly smell behind it a trap in which they are caught. The brave one, here a great tit, owns the world, respectively the ready laid food.

Hello there! I hope all is well my friends! I am here featuring Fapple Calming Water. It is a device for water and breath roleplay. I am doing some different things in this bath space. I wanted a modern feel with a hint of rustic so the main colors in this space are black and brown. I love decorating a darker space as much as I love a bright cheerful one if not more. Back in the day if your smoking material became too small to smoke but too big to toss, you reached into your pocket for this little device. It looks like a key but when squeezed the blade would separate and it became a handy clip. It has remained on my keychain ever since. It has held up quite well over the years, possibly because it was made in the USA.

After Ukraine destroyed a Russian data centre that housed a major 'bot farm' there has been a massive reduction in pro-Trump MAGA and far-right posts on social media across the US and Europe.
The current UK Prime Minister has, finally, shared the fact that Russia interfered with the Brexit referendum here. They also interfered with the Scottish Independence referendum.
There is plenty of evidence out there of Russian interference in Western political discourse.
Some of us have known for years that Russia was playing the long game in online disinformation and interference.
The impact that it has had on our lives cannot be underestimated. Public discourse. Division. Attitudes. Emotion. All manipulated by a relentless bombardment of propaganda designed to undermine Western democracy and destroy social cohesion.
We cannot allow it to continue. Our lives are miserable as a result of disinformation and lies spread on social media. Our lives are affected by political decisions made because of artificially overinflated online opinions.
Too many people lack the critical thinking skills to see beyond the propaganda, sadly.
These bot farms are a national security issue and it is long overdue that they are shut down.

This is part of a stapling device. The red color in the eyes and lips is reflected from the red top of the device.

Granada is the capital city of the province of Granada, in the autonomous community of Andalusia, Spain. Granada is located at the foot of the Sierra Nevada mountains, at the confluence of four rivers, the Darro, the Genil, the Monachil and the Beiro. Ascribed to the Vega de Granada comarca, the city sits at an average elevation of 738 m (2,421 ft) above sea level, yet is only one hour by car from the Mediterranean coast, the Costa Tropical. With a population of 233,532 as of 2024, it is the 20th-largest city in Spain.
Nearby is the Sierra Nevada Ski Station, where the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships 1996 were held. Its nearest airport is Federico García Lorca Granada-Jaén Airport.
The area was settled since ancient times by Iberians, Romans, and Visigoths. The current settlement became a major city of Al-Andalus in the 11th century during the Zirid Taifa of Granada. In the 13th century it became the capital of the Emirate of Granada under Nasrid rule, the last Muslim-ruled state in the Iberian Peninsula. Granada was conquered in 1492 by the Catholic Monarchs and progressively transformed into a Christian city over the course of the 16th century.
The Alhambra, a medieval Nasrid citadel and palace, is located in Granada. It is one of the most famous monuments of Islamic architecture and one of the most visited tourist sites in Spain. Islamic-period influence and Moorish architecture are also preserved in the Albaicín neighborhood and other medieval monuments in the city. The 16th century also saw a flourishing of Mudéjar architecture and Renaissance architecture, followed later by Baroque and Churrigueresque styles. The University of Granada has an estimated 47,000 undergraduate students spread over five different campuses in the city. The pomegranate (Spanish: granada) is the heraldic device of Granada.

A North American residential circuit breaker. This particular style, known as ganged, is used for 240-volt circuits to ensure both hot legs trip, otherwise there would be a live 120-volt circuit from either hot leg to neutral, an unsafe condition. Industrial buildings with three-phase power use three-breaker ganged units where required for similar reasons.
While the term “circuit breaker” mainly refers to the electrical safety device in its many varieties, the name has been used in other fields to suggest a overload shutoff mechanism, such as in the world of finance and even in reference to the COVID-19 pandemic.
When Doctor Who visited Archimedes, the brilliant scientist managed to create a simplified analogue of the Tardis. Recently, Sicilian specialists managed to recreate this booth based on the surviving drawings of Archimedes, because in fact, the Roman warrior understood the genius of the scientist, and the drawings of the device have been preserved.

For the Macro Mondays theme of Game Pieces. I was hard pressed to find anything more suitable because all our board games are kept in the loft i.e. apart from this which was a Christmas pressie last year, It's the board version of the game you can play on mobile devices. I've put one of last year's pictures of the board game in comments.
