I layered drawings I produced of buildings in London with drawings of the cardboard city installation. I trialled different compositions with the images first but this was my final one. This created an abstract print that looked collaged.
Woven prints
I took two of my screen prints that were printed onto textural backgrounds and then cut them into strips to weave together. I really liked this outcome as I think using brown paper and white paper was effective as it created a clear gridded effect. I also like the way the images do not completely meet as it makes them look slightly skewed and distorted.

I like the way the image is very clear centrally but is faded around the edges. The canvas didn't seem to pick the ink up as well as the paper did. If I was to explore this further I would like to get more fabrics to combine on a background, such as hessian to see what other effects I could get.

I re-drew one of my drawings from my cities sketchbook for this mono print. I think the print came out very clear and the mark making was very effective. This is however quite a unsuspecting process due to you not being able to see the work develop throughout and not being able to erase any lines produced.
I also tried this on mixed media backgrounds which did not come out as clear due to the amount of ridges created from the different materials.
The NASCAR Drive for Diversity Crew Member Development program in association with the Winston-Salem State University Department of Athletics will hold a combine for male and female athletes to try out for positions for possible careers as a NASCAR pit crew member.
The combine will be held in the CE Gaines Center on Thursday, May 30th from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The athletes will be put through speed and agility testing, as well as basic pit crew testing.

The St. Regis Toronto is a mixed-use skyscraper in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It was built by Markham-based Talon International Development Inc., which is owned by Canadian businessmen Val Levitan and Alex Shnaider. It is currently owned by InnVest Hotels LP.
After it opened in 2012 as the Trump International Hotel and Tower Toronto, the hotel was controversial for its affiliation with American then real estate developer Donald Trump, who later was elected President of the United States. In 2017, this affiliation led to calls from the public for the hotel to drop its Trump branding following the U.S. President’s Executive Order 13769, which restricted people from a number of predominantly Muslim countries from traveling to the United States.
The Trump Organization, a company owned by the Trump family, used to hold the management contract for the hotel and was a minority shareholder in the project. The management contract was bought out by JCF Capital in June 2017, and the hotel portion of the building was then purchased by InnVest Hotels LP, a subsidiary of Bluesky Hotels and Resorts. The hotel management shifted to Marriott International, where it operated on an unbranded basis as the Adelaide Hotel Toronto. The hotel underwent a comprehensive renovation plan and joined Marriott's St. Regis Hotels & Resorts brand as The St. Regis Toronto on November 28, 2018.
The tower is located in the Financial District, at 325 Bay Street, on the southeast corner of Bay and Adelaide streets. It is the third tallest skyscraper in Canada (including spire), the tallest mixed-use building in the city and fourth tallest structure in the city.

This development has been driven by rapid population growth, a booming economy, and significant infrastructure projects such as new highways, bridges, and skyscrapers. The city, located at the confluence of the Yangtze and Jialing rivers, has expanded both horizontally and vertically, with towering high-rises and expansive residential complexes reshaping its skyline. This rapid urbanization has been supported by the Chinese government's "Go West" policy, which has incentivized the movement of industries and investments to the interior of the country.
