The market developed from informal markets created by early 17th century street vendors gathering together near the Saigon River. The market was formally established by the French colonial powers after taking over the Gia Định citadel in 1859. This market was destroyed by fire in 1870 and rebuilt to become Saigon's largest market. In 1912 the market was moved to a new building and called the New Bến Thành Market to distinguish over its predecessor. The building was renovated in 1985.
This piece develops further a series I have been making about relationships with my family and my past, growing up in England, in this case focusing specifically on my relationship to my older brother.
I was moving around while my aunt was doing her part on the honorary guest part. Tih boy was wanting to be filmed very badly and was trying every means he could think of.
I think he was quite cute with this flower.

Olympus Trip 35 loaded with a roll of Legacy Pro 100, rated this roll at 160 iso and develop the roll in a 1:200 ratio of Rodinal.
The Trip 35 lets you pick the aperture and it chooses the shutter speed for you, I was shooting at about f8.0 here on Trip's Zuiko 40mm f2.8 lens.
Here was my process for developing ...
1. Ratio of 1:200 Rodinal (2.5 mL Rodinal to 500 mL of water) @ 20'C
2. Agitate gently for 1st minute (probably about 30 turns)
3. Tap & let sit for 30 minutes
4. at 30 minute mark, agitate gently for about 5 turns
5. At 1 hour ... stop bath with water & fix

Can you believe that a beautiful place like this is under threat from a proposed quarry !
Apparently, Nelson Aggregates has a quarry license application which falls within this area, one of the most sensitive parts of the Greenbelt.
How could anyone allow a quarry to be placed here?

In today’s world, it is more important than ever to ensure that children in developing countries have access to a good quality education system. There are almost 35 million children that are unable to attend schools in Africa, compared to over 28 million children in Asia and rest of the world standing at 12 million. Therefore, in the third world and developing countries, education could be the key tool to break the vicious poverty cycle. Education allows people to develop the technical and leadership skills which help the poor to come out of the poverty trap.
Every child has the right to education, but many children are excluded because of high costs, language and cultural barriers, geographical remoteness, or special needs.
Al Mustafa Welfare Trust® works to ensure free and equal access to quality education at all times, including in emergencies, as well as access to learning for young people so they can reach their full potential.
In 2013, we supported 10,000 children to equip them with an education and ensure a brighter future for all.
Kottingwörth developed from a settlement on an island ("Werder") in the Altmühl river. The first wooden church may date back to the time of Christianisation. The first stone church, dedicated to St. Vitus, was built in the 12th century. It got consecrated between 1183 and 1195.
The towers were built between 1250 and 1310. In the first half of the 16th century, the towers were raised. In the years 1760/61, the medieval church building was replaced by a baroque new building, with the two towers being incorporated into a double tower facade.
A high wall surrounds the cemetery around the church. I rough times the church served as a “refuge” during enemy attacks.
some polaroid that has probably been in the camera since 1999 or so. out of four shots, this is the only one that developed at all. =)
