Sanchez's Little Smiles provides families the opportunity to escape their daily hardships and enjoy an evening together while watching Tigers baseball at Comerica Park from inside the Sanchez family's suite! To help launch the program, The Anderson Family and Dr. Arlene Rozzelle from the Children's Hospital of Michigan Plastic Surgery Department took part in the celebration.

It was a beautiful warm evening, perfect baseball weather, as I drove by Tiger Stadium. There were lots of people in the street enjoying the wonderful summer evening. You could hear the roar of the crowd as the Tigers played hard to win another game. It was so perfect it was almost like a dream...

Nowicki deployed with the 119th to Kuwait in 2010 as a Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear defense specialist and was recognized by the Tigers for his service to the U.S. Armed Forces. The Tigers got to Chris Sale and beat the White Sox on Saturday. The game marked the Tigers tribute to the Negro Leagues and both team wore uniforms from the era.
Sale was, once again, denied his 10th win. Mike Palfrey wound up stopping an 18-start winless streak dating to last Aug. 12.
