Destiny is an 81-year-old, 85-foot hermaphrodite brigantine staysail schooner. According to Commodore-Yachting.com, the wooden schooner was commissioned by American playwright, screenwriter, and film director Preston Sturgess, built in Los Angeles, and launched Sept. 17, 1934, to host “Hollywood’s elite” During World War II, she patrolled the East Coast looking for Nazi U-boats. She currently does extensive cruises for thecurrent owners, the Hilliards. www.dailyastorian.com/life/it-s-destiny/article_d3464401-... Destiny schooner once belonged to William Randolf Hearst and later by Howard Hughes. Her current owner has added new features including a large bank of solar collectors that retracts while she is sailing. They can power her appliances. Here they are out under the mainsail and look like an aluminum roof over the rear deck.

Destiny
This picture represents destiny both in a physical sense as well as a spiritual sense. The baby that is formed in the womb is being molded, shaped, and designed with purpose and destiny. Yet, there must be an appointed time for the child to come forth. In the same way are the purposes of God, as we are formed in His womb, being molded and formed, growing daily. At His appointed time destiny and promise will be fulfilled and birthed forth.
