Another shot from Fanal in Madeira. There are lots of wonderful old trees scattered around this location, but this tree with the remains of a dead specimen behind certainly got me thinking!
Whilst the area here was really busy with lots of people wandering amongst the trees and some literally clambering all over them, what is the future here?
A large car park has been built and more and more erosion and damage being caused to the area and I didn't see any new growth or saplings as I wandered around this ancient sparse woodland. Just a thought!

I love this quote from a movie. Destiny will arrive no matter how much we try to avoided or escape it.

"Destiny" is the World #4 ranked aquarium in 2013. I spent 6 months creating this aquarium....part of the reason for my absent in flickr/photography :)
Sweet little Destiny (or Dessie as she is known by her loved ones). Favourite things to do: sleeping, rubbing annoyingly between Davids legs when he is trying to shave, doing impression of NASCAR rally down the hallway when she thinks you are going to the laundry where the food bowls are, cuddling up and purring..but only when SHE deems it the right time to do so.

I have walked past an abandoned piece of equipment twice each day approx 90 times this year and noticed it but "never really noticed it".
Today it was raining and I had to head for cover and share 'its' space under an awning. It's a huge device but with very intricate internals.
I had my camera with me; it got my full attention today with a lot of interesting photos taken (IMHO).
This fine piece of British Machinery will no doubt end up being sold for scrap metal, which is a tad sad.
This pic is cropped to get the square format.
A few more posted pics later will reveal what it is unless someone can guess from this image?
I COMPLETELY redid my Warlock. In fact, this is a completely new figure, completely sculpted again of course. The weapon is a combination of numerous Rifles I'v seen in videos, this also has custom sculpted parts.

Armor: Brick Affliction
Weapon: Brickarms
The Hunters in Destiny are sometimes referred to as "gunslingers", so I wanted this one to have a bit of western flavor. Hope you like the result.
So here she is. I've been working on this figure for about three days now. I finished her yesterday, but wasn't able to upload it until tonight. She was inspired by this picture (downloads.bungie.net/images/artists_reference/Destiny_Tit...). I don't have any Destiny weapons, so I just gave her a BrickForge magnum. I sanded down the sides to give the figure more of a feminine look. All of the armor pieces were sculpted with a air-drying clay called Miliput. The helmet is a modified Starlord helmet, credit for that going to TopazBricks, thanks man! :) Also the picture was edited with Gimp 2. Thanks for looking!
