Alright! Here's my Destiny Fireteam as promised. These figures are purist (Yes, the rubber bands are Lego). Weapons provided by Brickarms. The Warlock is very similar to the one shown off in my previous Destiny photo: The Long Way Home. The Hunter has a new technique ( At least I think it is) for a gun wrap, which is just a Brickarms XSR wrapped in a cape and secured by two rubber bands. Headgear technique on both the Hunter and the Titan go to Ravage. Not sure who came up with the shoulder pauldron thing for the Titan but I've seen it before. Anyways hopefully I can put together a small 16x16 moc for these guys but we'll see. As usual I'd love to hear your thoughts so please comment below.

I always thought that Destiny's Child Michelle doll was the prettiest out of the three, but I never thought about adding her to my collection until I saw her on Artsy ~BETA~ Lover's photo stream.
I immediately began the hunt for her and as I always say, she finally came home this week.

Here are some figs I made inspired by the new game Destiny, one for each class. Since I'm strictly PC (AKA my parents won't get me an Xbox or Playstation for my Bday/Christmas/anything and I have like $55 to my name, which is soon to be gone because Homecoming tickets are hella expensive) I don't have a real extensive knowledge of what characters look like or how they work, but I like the aesthetics of the game. Oh, and thanks to Cmorgenwreck for being the main inspiration for these figures, as I used some of his stuff to start on/as references. So thanks!
Overview:
Hunter: Based off of/inspired by Cmorgerwreck, as stated above. I really like him, probably my favorite of the bunch tbh. I think it captures the aesthetic of the game the best, and I like the combo's in general. Also comes with a terrible custom Handcannon thingy I made, which isn't very accurate, but I like it a lot.
Titan: Second favorite of the bunch, he was the most fun to make. The fig is very straightforward, but I think it looks a lot like the class in the game. I took the color scheme inspiration from TheJ0ker's titan in-game, and because I thought the helmet worked perfectly and I was to lazy to paint it. Speaking of it, It's a senate commando helm that I took the fin off of, and I think it is perfect for the class.
Warlock: Worst fig by far, he's just here because I wanted a warlock in the group. It sucks. I don't really have a good head for him, and I don't think, the legs work to well. The torso is eh. I guess it looks good with the trench coat, but whatever. Inspired by Cmorgerwreck's version as well.

Life size (or close to it) replica of a Ghost - your Ghost - from the game Destiny. It is as fragile as it looks! I figured out how to build the octahedral core from these builds by OptimalControl.
The core is lit up with a BrickLite.

Powis Castle (Welsh: Castell Powis) is a medieval castle, fortress and grand country mansion near Welshpool, in Powys, Mid Wales.
The castle has also been known as Castell Coch, Castell Pool, Castell Pola, Castell Pole, Castell Trallwng, Red Castle, Redde Castle and Castel Cough.
The seat of the Earl of Powis, the castle is known for its extensive, attractive formal gardens, terraces, parkland, deerpark and landscaped estate. The property is under the care of the National Trust.
Princess Victoria (later Queen Victoria) visited the castle as a child when her mother took her to tour England and Wales in 1832.
Early history:
Powis, unlike the castles at Conwy, Caernarfon, Harlech and nearby Montgomery which were all built by the English to subdue the Welsh, was the fortress of a dynasty of Welsh princes. In 1286, four years after Edward I’s conquest of Wales, Owain ap Gruffydd ap Gwenwynwyn, the last hereditary prince of Powis, renounced his royal claim title and was granted the title of Baron de la Pole, (i.e. "of the Pool" a reference to Welshpool, formerly called just "Pool" and the location of Powis Castle). The ancient Kingdom of Powys had included the counties of Montgomeryshire, much of Denbighshire, parts of Radnorshire and previously large areas of Shropshire.
Owain's descendant, an illegitimate son of the last Baron Grey of Powis, sold the lordship and castle to Sir Edward Herbert (d. 1595), second son of Sir William Herbert, 1st Earl of Pembroke, in 1579. Sir Edward’s wife was a Roman Catholic and the family’s allegiance to Rome and to the Stuart kings was to shape its destiny for over a century. On 22 October 1644 Powis Castle was captured by Parliamentary troops and was not returned to the family until the restoration of Charles II.

Destiny
I was sitting there,
on the shore,
watching the waves.
I saw her,
trapped beneath the surface.
I lunged.
I held on.
I needed to help her escape.
As we clutched,
we became one.
I knew her pain.
I knew her confusion.
I felt her fear.
We struggled,
she and I.
Not against each other,
but against destiny.
I needed to give her life;
she needed me to let go.

Testing out my new 5th generation iPod camera. I think it looks pretty good so far. Also, I'll more than likely be picking up destiny for ps4 closer to Christmas time.

I think that you have to believe in your destiny; that you will succeed, you will meet a lot of rejection and it is not always a straight path, there will be detours - so enjoy the view.

It’s a shame that the Aquazone visor is transparent, but it works so well for a Warlock mini-figure. Lego didn’t produce this element in a solid blue. I guess it works out for Stormtrance though.

Winter Storm Destiny has been blanketing Southern New England with snow since 5AM this morning. We're expecting total accumulation of 5 to 10 inches through tomorrow morning. A little bit of the landscape outside the house.
Don't know why, but I'm a sucker for photographing trees....This is a location I have wanted to visit for a little while now but the weather and tides have not been favourable. This is a location I will be visiting again with a different composition in mind as unfortunately I miscalculated the tide.
