This church is an old building that carries ancient hope. Combining old with new. Old building, new technology. Timeless message, new ways to communicate it. Underneath the traditional exterior lies a vibrant church that is to me everything church should be. Exhilarating praise and worship filled with the life and power of God. The preaching of God’s word, the Gospel. A blend of young passion and mature wisdom. The contrasts between old and new remind us of where we have come from whilst reminding us that change is eternal but He is timeless.

Kismet grew up in an unconventional family, in an old, old building that had belonged to her family since her family began. As a girl she loved to creep out onto the stage at her great grandparents' abandoned vaudeville theater, and with the light pouring through some of the missing boards over the windows, pretend that was a spotlight and there were thousands of people clapping as she sang her heart out. It was one of those places that started out in 1897 and played comedies and musical acts through the 1930's … transitioned to film in the 30's through the 50's … and finally in the 60's saw a short life as a burlesque house. Closed and boarded up by the time Kismet was born, she nonetheless found a way in ... and that darkened, dusty stage became her training ground. Kismet has a song in her heart, and all she wants to do is let it out to bring joy to those around her.
Kismet still wears the key to her family's old theater on her pull ring … alongside a vintage brass heart from her Aunt's jewelry box. Together those things … love of the magic of a darkened theater, and love for her family - make her who she is today.
Kismet is a Heather Sky (RBL) base dolly. Her stock hair has been trimmed into an adorable, layered bob. She has airbrushed make-up, with glowing golden lids, and eyeshadow in gold, teal and brown. Kismet's dress is created in golden metallic fabric in my adaptation of a 70's pattern, and she has sparkly tights, takara boots painted in antique gold with gold "laces", and a gold leather studded belt.

Destiny refers to a predetermined course of events.[1] It may be conceived as a predetermined future, whether in general or of an individual. It is a concept based on the belief that there is a fixed natural order to the cosmos.
The Destiny property in Osceola County, approximately 30,000 acres near Yehaw Junction, was purchased from a ranching family by a development company and proposed by its developers to become a new city named Destiny that could eventually grow to the size of Orlando. It was billed by developers to be the "Nation's First Eco-Sustainable Green City" while critics have referred to Destiny as a can opener prying its way into the natural lands of the Everglades Headwaters. Due to the dramatic fall in real estate values since 2007 an the new Everglades Headwaters National Wildlife Refuge and Conservation Area established in 2012, there is a chance the property will be protected in perpituty rather than developed. Its location near the Kissimmee River and adjacent to the rare dry priairie habitats of Kissimmee Prairie Preserve State Park make the Destiny property a strong candidate for conservation if funding becomes available. Destiny is a key piece of the puzzle for the Florida Wildlife Corridor opportunity.
Florida Wildlife Corridor Expedition. From January 17 through April 25, 2012, a team of explorers including photographer Carlton Ward Jr, cinematographer Elam Stoltzfus, bear biologist Joe Guthrie and conservationist Mallory Lykes Dimmitt, set out to trek 1000 miles in 100 days to showcase the opportunity to protect a connected corridror of natural lands and waters throughout peninsular Florida for the benefit of wildlife and people.
