Current work desktop with wallpaper based on heeeraldo's image, Rainmeter with custom 10-Foot-HUD set-up. Windows XP Pro on a nine-year old machine.

I've been inspired by the ideas of others in this Flickr pool to make my work desktop (Windows XP) cleaner, more organized, and less distracting. :-) The wallpaper can be found here: (http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/26731834/). I've embedded notes to describe the setup. I'm contemplating adding Yahoo Widgets, but haven't done so yet. I'm a little worried that I'll get carried away with the distractions.
My current desktop complete with yahoo widgets (weather and picture frame) cause MEGAN FOX is HOTTTTTT

I really couldn't think of a name. Wow.
Well, 90% of all the stuff i have on the computer right now has been changed to the Gaia09 Theme Sets. Here's a list:
1) Wallpaper: From the Gaia Website.

4) RocketDock Skin: From The Gaia Website.
5) ObjectDock Icons: From The Gaia Website.
6) Launchy Skin: From The Gaia Website.
7) Rainmeter: Mail, Weather, and RSS are from the Gaia Website.
Thank Goodness thats all. Everything else was different.
The RocketDock Icons are Basic5 By Otis Bee, some of them made using the PSD.
Other Rainmeter (Time/Date and Notes) are from the Elemental Skin.
Still Hiding the Taskbar, Using StartKiller, etc, etc.
Wonder if Gaia will start making any FireFox Skins...THAT...would be awesome.
This is a picture of my desktop. The wallpaper is from InterfaceLIFT, a great site for getting hi res widescreen wallpapers (I highly recommend it). the date and time are geektools scripts taken from Tanner Smith (http://www.tssoftware.net/?p=55) and the iTunes bit a slightly modified script from this dude's blog here (http://www.leancrew.com/all-this/2006/07/off-track/). The font throughout is headthinker, which is available at www.dafont.com. Minimalism at it's best. Plus the wallpaper satisfies both my inner nerd and my hopeless romanticism. +10 for anyone who knows who Sparks the Rescue is.
A futuristic looking desktop background, not my idea, saw a someone else do it first, but still looks awesome :D

Finally decided to make some tweaks to my Windows 7 desktop. Pretty happy with the outcome. Very simple and easy to do, but effective.

my current desktop, wall paper (downloaded from the DC comics website) and various shite on there. As you can see, I do line my icons up in an anally retentive fashion. Res is 1440x 900. Equally strange.

This is my customized desktop. I call it the Heavenly Blue Desktop.

2. Objectdock for the customized docks at the centre bottom.
3. The Applications icon, feeds icon, power button icons at the bottom right and the text toggler white dot icons are Rainmeter (from Omnimo theme).
4. The cool digital time & date icon is rainmeter (pragmatic 3.0 skin).
