Barbie® doll's top is a golden woven fabric with golden and purple beads at the hem. It ties in the back and reveals her midriff. Her skirt is an eggplant purple taffeta with pleat detail. It opens in the front to reveal a front panel, which is a pinkish lavender shantung with an Indian inspired golden print hem. Her earrings are golden hoops with beads and she wears and interesting arm bracelet made out of golden wire that swirls around her arm. Barbie® doll's hair is a rich dark brown with auburn highlights, done in a low side ponytail with a purple velvety flower in it.

I think that AI image generation is similar in many ways to photography. The camera itself handles all the fine details, but the photographer is in charge of curating the types of images that will be created.
Ultimately, it is all about maximizing the probability that something good will be created.
This is very similar to AI image generation, in terms of the skills involved and what the human does vs. what the machine does.
You can't compare AI image generation to the process of actually making these images from scratch with 3D software or paint/pencils, where the human controls every detail.
However, I think the process really is very similar to that of photography, as I made the case for above. I think that DALL-E 3 is by far the most powerful AI image generation tool currently available.

Vitrines de l'exposition sur les créations du designer Fulvio Bianconi pour le verrier Paolo Venini
Après les oeuvres des designers italiens : Carlo Scarpa, Napoleone Martinuzzi and Tomaso Buzzi, qui ont travaillé pour Paolo Venini, le célèbre verrier de Murano, c'est au tour des créations de Fulvio Bianconi (1915-1996) de faire l'objet d'une rétrospective à la fondation Cini (dans le cadre de la Stanze del Vetro).
Cette remarquable exposition présente un parcours chronologique qui débute en 1950 avec les Fazzoletti, ces vases en verre très fin qui ressemblent à des mouchoirs ouverts, se poursuit avec toutes les créations multicolores et raffinées qui ont fait le succès et l'image de Venini et se termine avec les figurines de la Commedia dell'arte qu'affectionnaient Fluvio Bianconi.

Deboxing Designer Pocahontas. The clear acrylic cover of the case has been removed, so Pocahontas is now in the open. She is still attached to the cardboard backing and spacer by wires, thread and plastic tacks. She is also supported by the built-in doll stand.
First look at the Disney Princess Designer Collection Pocahontas Doll. She was released by the Disney Store in October 2011. I got her new in box from eBay shortly afterwards, so It's been more than a year and a half since i got this doll. But I have not yet deboxed her, and this the first time I am doing a full photoshoot of her. I will photograph her boxed, during her deboxing, and fully deboxed.
My Pocahontas doll is a limited edition doll, numbered 2460 of 4000. She comes in an acrylic case with a built-in doll stand, with a base that has a golden filigree design, and a golden metallic nameplate. There is also a cardboard cover for the case that I have not photographed here.
She is 11 1/2'' tall, and has the same body as the other Designer Princess dolls, with jointed neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, waist, hips and knees (internal). She has rubber legs and fixed ankles, with feet angled for high heels.
She has jet black, long straight hair in a pony tail that is about 10'' long, so almost reaches the floor. She has a unique sort of method of tying her hair at the top of the ponytail, that partially uses her own hair, along with black rubberbands, that looks very elegant. She has medium dark brown skin, and a unique face sculpt that is very pretty and movie accurate. She has small, narrow slanted light brown eyes. She has silver and dark brown eye shadow, and dark brown eyebrows. She has rooted eyelashes, that are tapered in length from short to long, then at the ends there are very long curved antenna like lashes. She has a long thin nose, full pale pink lips in with a closed mouth. She has a serious expression on her face, which combined with her upward looking head position makes her look aloof or angry in the original packaging. I was glad to debox her so I could change her pose to a more natural looking one, and make her look serious but serene. She has a dark brown tribal tattoo in her upper right arm.
Her gown is made of dark brown suede-like material, with a dark brown satin lining underneath. It is floor length, and has a round train in the back, the full extend of which can be seen only when she is deboxed, and the packaging restraints removed. There are opal colored gems interspersed throughout the front of the gown, then at the upper part of the bodice the gems are placed very densely. The right side is strapless, and the left side has a yellow-brown beaded sleeve/strap, which extends to border the gemmed area of the bodice. The gown is very elegant and luxurious.
She is wearing dark brown high heeled shoes.
Her accessories are a purse and earrings. The purse is a oval dark brown clutch, with opal-like gems and golden colored clasp. It is not functional. Her earrings are small opal colored round studs.

Belle has been fully deboxed. Belle can free stand due to the stiffness of her full length inner skirt. But she isn't fully stable that way, so for all but the first few photos of her fully deboxed, I use a Kaiser stand to support her.
Detailed photos of the Belle and Gaston Doll Set, the second release of this year's Disney Fairytale Designer Collection. I got them from the store raffle on the release day of Tuesday September 20, 2016. They are #853 of 6000. As of Friday September 23, they are still available online, and in many stores.
I have not deboxed them yet, but show them in the display case, with the covers both on and off. I will add further photos when I debox them.

San Diego Fashion Week 2014 - SS 15 Collection - Norma Hill Designs Collection
Fine artist, photographer, fashion designer Norma Brown Hill, a native New Yorker, began her photographic journey almost 30 years ago. Her first job after graduating from Bard College was at the Metropolitan Museum of Art Photograph Library. Her interest in photography landed her a job photographing art and architecture in Europe and the Middle East. In the late 70‘s she settled in Paris where she studied darkroom techniques and learned the art of hand painting black and white photographs using oil paint. After returning to New York, she studied Polaroid Transfer techniques at the International Center of Photography in New York City. Subsequently, she was one of six artists in the country chosen to be a creative consultant to Polaroid. Hill’s signature is her manipulated photos that are often found on her garments, as well as on her fine art exhibited at Christies in NY, the French Institute, the National Arts Club in NYC, Gallery Solferino in Milan, the Heckscher Museum in Long Island, the Nassau County Museum of Fine Arts, the Edwin A. Ulrich Museum, the New York Public Library, Studio 54, as well as many other venues. Many major corporations including Miramax Productions, Smith Barney, and Oheka Castle have purchased Hill’s work. She has been featured in numerous publications, including the New York Times, Newsday, Better Homes and Gardens, and Modern Photography. Hill recently moved to San Diego where she has a studio in Leucadia. Currently her collection for FWSD is dedicated to creating artistic images combining painting and photography, incorporating sacred icons and texts from various cultures to help promote harmony in diversity through clothing. She truly has a unique way of printing her images on textiles that you don’t want to miss coming down the runway.
