Our approach has always been one that embraces collaboration as a fundamental part of what we do.

Over the last ten years we have worked with highly talented individuals, teams and companies from all over the world that help bring our vision to life.

Join the Dots is a celebration of the spirit of collaboration.

A simple idea. A consistent frame for a multitude of work. A single dot, each representing one collaborator, each a connection to another.

Each collaborator is given a template of a dot in a fixed position on an A2 portrait poster. Each interpreted this in their own way.

These are the first 25. There will be 100 in total and be collated into a book and exhibition.

Thanks to all that have contributed so far and for those that are still to come.

This features the original draft of the logo text. It was a bit crude so we tweaked the F and relationship between the VE to create a better balance visually for the final logo.

Russian News channel Kommersant - a collaboration with AllofUs.

A few snapshots from the graphic package.

So you may have noticed a distinct lack of db activity on our flickr page. The above logo is the reason why. We've just completed a comprehensive rebrand for Channel Five. It took 3 and a bit very hectic months of working in a cloud of secrecy. We're now free to show the work so we'll start to upload the elements and some behind the scenes.

All the guideline pages.

How do you present a whole TV channel to the client? In a big white box. We favour physical presentations rather than onscreen and make each presentation bespoke to the project. For Five we created an A2 white box housing all components of the channel. Even with TV work we like the tactile quality of printouts for the first formal presentation. It feels more impressive and is much more interactive.

The pants to go with the Bra. Some days our job doesn't seem that serious.

A lil colorful page I made for the Sassafras Lass blog, today: a ''Technique Tuesday'' post with tips on how to mix & match different collections seamlessly. :)

A few poster layouts for our recent Germany trip.

Examples of the Five colour palette. We have a bold set of colours for both on and off air.

Layout tests for our book. Fiddling around with 'tone'.

A closer detail of shattering glass. Top left you'll see a ball bearing we used to break the glass. Being highly scientific we lobbed it as hard as we could and sound activated the flash to capture the impact.

All in Freehand of course.

Chris is exploring more 3D assets. As this sphere opens the flowing hair is affected by gravity.

A typical snapshot. Baxi working. Dixon not so much.

We're hoping [with fingers crossed] the preeminent John Walters is going to provide the books introduction.
