I used some of the scraps generated from making the chess board to create this miniature checkers/draughts board and pieces. I need to finish coloring the tokens, and put a golden dot with a gold marker on the opposite side of each piece, so that the pieces can be flipped over to make kings.

In this workshop students from Thomas Coram Middle School designed and produced hat trimmings inspired by their visit to the exhibition, Hats: An Anthology by Stephen Jones.
Students worked alongside Professional Milliner Caroline Morris who set the design brief for the DesignLab workshop
Project theme - Sketch any product a day using different drawing techniques.
Product - Electrolux Social Cooking concepts.
Technique - Quick concept sketches done with some notes and drawings to quickly describe what the concept is and gives room for development at a later stage. (These are some concept sketches as part of the Electrolux Design Lab competition 2013).
