Designing different sized balls for my next MOC.

From the size 3 x 3 x 3 I have 2 versions with small differences.

I used the colors as a test. The real colors will be visible in my new MOC.

People wander around busily, enjoying the exhibits around the various floors of the Design Museum in London.

Plenty in my garden.

what we wrongly call 'Geranium' are actually 'Pelargonium'... from my garden, where they grow faster than 'weeds'. LOL.

WILD(?) Geranium Ingwersen's Variety (Cranesbill, Perennial Geranium)

Pleasant light pink flowers with pronounced sepals on strong stems.

Macro-rhizum are more drought tolerant than other Cranesbills.

The semi-evergreen aromatic leaves of Geranium Ingwersen's Variety are tinted bronze-red in fall and foliage can be dried for potpourri.

It has a very particular, quite strong smell.

Bees love them.

Thank you for your visit, M, (*_*)

The Torre Velasca, designed by BBPR was an important addition to Milan’s skyline in the late 1950s.

The building can be seen as a manifestation of one of the key ideological dichotomies of 20th century architecture - representing those who defended a strict modernism (the International Style) and those who were open to a Regional Modernism which incorporated local or historic references within the design.

In this respect, the upper third of the building, which protrudes outwardly from the lower levels, was designed to resemble medieval watchtowers such as those found in the nearby Sforza Castle, whilst the skeletal supporting elements and projecting wall buttresses recalled the architecture of the gothic Duomo di Milano.

I also use drawings when building aircraft: typically I use three-view drawings to measure the dimensions (I have lots of books about aircraft and copy the three-view drawings onto paper) and work out the planform on graph paper.

Despite the planning, building my Skyhawk model involved a fair bit of trail-and-error.

Another shot for the round challenge. Circles and circles. Thanks to Ingrid for the title.

This colourful design capturing the scientific essence of ESA’s upcoming Cheops exoplanet mission – characterising planets as they transit in front of their host star – has been selected as the winning design that will be featured on the rocket that will launch the satellite into space.

The design was one of over 300 submitted to the competition that offered graphic designers and artists the unique opportunity to feature their work on the rocket that will launch Cheops – the CHaracterising ExOplanets Satellite – to Earth orbit.

The design was created by Denis Vrenko of Celje, Slovenia, a 25 year-old graphic designer and final-year architecture student at the University of Ljubljana.
