This was shot a while back at the La Salle Design Institute. Found this cool POV...the wall is actually painted BLACK and the white section is white. I just turend this to B&W to punch the tone thru.
Maybe I will teach photography there ;-)
A tourist enjoys the unusual design of the Auditorio de Tenerife in Tenerife, one of the Canary Islands.
The Auditorio de Tenerife "Adán Martín" (Auditorio de Tenerife), was designed by architect Santiago Calatrava Valls. It is located in the southern part of Port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
The majestic profile of the auditorium has become an architectural symbol of the city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the island of Tenerife and the Canary Islands. It is also regarded as the finest modern building in the Canary Islands and one of the most emblematic buildings of Spanish architecture.
The redesigned R5 was officially called Supercinq. It was designed by Marcello Gandini (1938-2024) for Studio Bertone and introduced in 1984.
The Super5 was the successor of the 1972-1985 R5 Phase I which was designed by Michel Boué (1936-1971).
The Super5 was face-lifted in May 1987 and received a new grille. It was manufactured in Slovenia since 1994 to make place for the production of the new Twingo in France.

I've been driving past this beautiful courtyard for several years and I have always thought it was very well done. Yesterday, I finally got around to getting a shot of it. I love the uniqueness, the color, the vines on the walls, the odd shaped windows and just the whole style and design of the place. It really stands out.

I had a spontaneous last minute decision to go to London on Saturday to check out the new Design District, which had only been open just over a week.
The day was mostly overcast until about 4pm when sun appeared which made for stunning lighting against the hazy, overcast sky. This shot looks like its CGI and straight out of a computer game.

In 1784, General Jean Baptiste Marie Meusnier designed an elliptical airship that was about 260 feet (79 meters) long. It was to be powered by three hand-cranked propellers, which required the labor of 80 men. Meusnier's design was never built. So I decided to build it and have it flying high above the French countryside.
