CATIA(www.cadcam.org) is able to detect any possible miscalculations thus making it a financially-viable and cost beneficial solution. The platform of CATIA is widely used by design engineers across the globe. It has not only proven to be user-friendly but has allowed convenient interfacing during model conversion. The application gives leverage to the developer in modeling 3D structural mechanical design. The forte of the CATIA is “Designing” whether it pertains to the structure’s shape, style or the exterior.
This fabric, on display at IMMA, (designed for Brown Thomas in 1953) is part of the exhibition, Patrick Scott: Image Space Light, which brings together the most comprehensive representation of this remarkable artist’s 75 year long career. Scott had his first exhibition in 1941 with the White Stag Group. The exhibition brings together more than 100 pieces that illustrate the breadth and longevity of his career as an architect, designer and artist. The exhibition at IMMA concentrates on Scott’s early works from the 1940s to the early 70s while VISUAL displays works from the 1960s to the present. Patrick Scott began a full-time artistic career in 1960, after first training as an architect, eventually becoming a partner at the renowned architecture firm, Scott Tallon Walker (STW). During the course of his career he also worked as a textile designer for Brown Thomas in Dublin, Tabard Frères et Soeurs, Aubusson, France, and with the village weavers of Oaxaca, Mexico; as a graphic designer for Coras Iompair Éireann; and as a carpet designer for Kilkenny Design Workshops.

This photo shows the almost finished garden with the lawn laid, the planting finished and the upper area now including raised vegetable planters and a significantly reduced boundary hedge. I thought I would post one of my old drawings. This was drawn in 1993, IT took 2 months, It is ancient celtic knotwork, and is difficult to draw with the weaving under and overlines. The drawing is composed of several designs which are derived from the ancient Book of Kells and the Lindisfarne Gospels, and various stone monument carvings around Scotland, Ireland, and Britain. This here has 28 birds, 11 dragons, 6 dogs, 4 other mythological animals,3 men, and 2 women included in it. This is 17x23 inches. It is drawn in ink pen, I should say several ink pens.
Amira design done by me. I loved this design a year ago and just found it impossible. Today is my one-year henna anniversary :).
