UPDATED 18-Jun-2008 Script now works on the "post upload" batch edit page as well as in the organizer.
I wrote a Greasemonkey script called Flickr Titles+Descriptions Batch Tools. It adds various tools for editing titles and descriptions in the organizer. Including search and replace text in titles and descriptions, append text to titles/descriptions, Copy description, title or tags from first image to all images in batch.

12,867-foot (3922 m) Mount Clarence King is a striking peak when viewed from all sides. Its 5.4 summit block was allegedly the most difficult rock climb in nineteenth-century America.
The first ascent was made by Bolton C. Brown in 1896, who colorfully wrote: 'It is a true spire of rock, an uptossed corner at the meeting of three great mountain walls ... The top of the summit-block slopes northwest, is about fifteen feet across, and as smooth as a cobblestone. If you fall off one side, you will be killed in the vicinity; if you fall off any of the other sides, you will be pulverized in the remote nadir beneath.'

Description The shadowy outlines of the terrain in Vesta's northern region are visible in this image from NASA's Dawn spacecraft. The image comes from the last sequence of images Dawn obtained of the giant asteroid Vesta as it departed the giant asteroid.
The view looks down at Vesta's north pole, which is in the middle of the image. When Dawn arrived in July 2011, Vesta's north pole was in darkness. After more than a year at Vesta, the sunlight has now made it to Vesta's north pole.
This image was taken by Dawn's framing camera on Aug. 25, 2012 PDT (Aug. 26, 2012 CET). Dawn escaped from Vesta's orbit on Sept. 4, 2012 PDT (Sept. 5, 2012 CET).

Image Description from historic lecture booklet: "Among the fifty or more social or more social organizations in Buenos Aires, the Jockey Club is the Argentine circle par excellence. Its wealth, derived from an initiation fee of $4000 and annual dues of $1500 for each member, and a "rake-off" of ten percent of the amounts wagered at its race-track, together with gate receipts, accumulate so rapidly that it is a source of genuine embarrassment to the governing board.
A short time ago the club voted to devote its surplus to the purchase of a dozen blocks in the heart of the city, the idea being to transform the tract into a beautiful boulevard. It would have cost nearly $14,000,000 in our money. The project was abandoned, not because of the cost, but on the ground of impracticability. During the racing season, held under the auspices of the Club at Palermo Park, the Porteno is seen at his best. Paris gowns and picture hats are displayed in profusion in the grandstand, lawns and luxurious victorias and automobiles that line the course, and with the correct dress and animation of the men, the prodigality everywhere in evidence, the scene takes on an aspect truly Parisian."

The photos were taken by a member of the U.S. Marines who was in Japan in the fall of 1945, shortly after the end of World War II. At this point we do not have the name of the photographer and we do not know how these photos were given to the library. There are 100 photos in this collection.
