An extreme close-up candid street portrait taken in Edinburgh, Scotland. He did ask me, in a strong American accent, if I had taken his photograph and I might have lied, I honestly can't remember. I was dosed up on many painkillers for my ongoing ankle trouble. He made a striking subject though, here at the bottom end of The Royal Mile.
