In the 1940's hit song, A String of Pearls played by Glenn Miller's FABULOUS band, ( composed by Jerry Gray, lyrics by Eddie De Lange) the pearls referred to are a sort of stop gap gift to a lady awaiting a Wedding Ring!
"Every pearl's a star above'
Wrapped in dreams and filled with love,
That old string of pearls a-la Wool Worths!"
My pearls are NOT Woolworths, but they're not real either. They ARE, however filled with love and so, I placed them on a bed of pale, elegant sequins and shot with a shallow DOF to give them a dreamy look! Hope it works for you!! Love the pearls. Love the piece of music!!

Really struggled today as we are going away for the weekend and will have no internet access. I wanted to get my photo done and posted before going. Disappointed as it really looks just like I am trying to sell a pair of shoes...no reasonable offer refused haha ;) but it will have to do as I am so short of time. Will try harder over the weekend!
Hope to catch up with you all after the weekend...have a great one! :)
Edit: I should have mentioned that I don't wear these, they are not even my size but a charity shop purchase for a photo prop. I couldn't resist them. They may appear again in my photostream.

Like my last image, I was a little nervous as he was rather energetic and I was trying not to be a bother.
This squirrel was so intent on his meal of acorns that he didn't seem to mind me crouching down beside him and snapping away!
Thanks for all the lovely comments and favs on yesterday's Chinese Lantern shot. They are very much appreciated.
