Part of a very very weathered massive mooring post for large ships, placed on the sidewalk as a work of art and historical monument to commemorate the maritime and trading past of Amsterdam.

Old one from last spring. Sadly, this year, Madame is much more nocturnal than last year. I have no idea, if it's something we have changed in our yard, the neighbours construction site, or if she has simply found a better place for her afternoon naps... but I do MISS her, so much... Not really, of course, as she's there in the evenings ;) :D, just wishing she'd come for another sunshine photo session soon ;)
I really appreciate this photo. I think there's a lot of nice coloring variations here. Between the shadow and the light, this is such an interesting shot. For me anyway. I enjoyed the persuasion.
