My new d300s that is =) I've been so busy since I got back (sleeping and inprocessing) that I haven't had any time to show Flickr love! I haven't even had a chance to take very many pictures with this bad boy who is still nameless, sad I know. All I can say is my world is a little brighter since my 50mm now auto focuses. Like a little slice of heaven. It's good to be back! Thanks for all the love guys, I've missed you!

A cup of delicious apple tea. It's always Turkish tradition to offer a cup of tea to all visitors, even if it's for a hard sell in a store by a pushy salesman. True to tradition, we were served this delicious cup of apple tea at the carpet store. You are usually given a choice of normal or apple tea. (there is one more type- the pomegranate tea, but this is not very common). Apple tea is basically hot apply juice and is to die for. This type of small hand-less tea cup is called 'istikana' in Arab countries. (Istanbul, Turkey, Nov. 2014)
okay, mostly delicious japanese ice cream. the vanilla (my safe choice) was perfectly fine. the black sesame was really good and the yuzu was really, really good. i'm not a fan of green tea ice cream, and since this was a matcha version, i was even less of a fan. which leaves us with the honey wasabi. it was CRAZY. it felt like a fireball in your mouth without actually being spicy or all that hot. it was the most bizarre thing ever.
This gorgeous ghost sign for Coca-Cola, revealed last year after a building demolition in Andersonville, is now being bricked over. This was inevitably going to happen, but is still sad to see. Perhaps it will be revealed again in another 100 years.

Agrotourism Kalpic is located in a rural area near the Krka National Park (home to some amazing waterfalls), and is only 10 miles from the city of Šibenik.
It consists of 3 traditional Croatian stone cottages, a larger stone house and an authentic Dalmatian tavern.
Each room has a different character and is decorated in an authentic style, with everything you need for a very comfortable stay.
In the traditional Dalmatian tavern, the friendly, welcoming hosts serve a wide range of home-made wines and liquors, such as the Rakija (a very nice walnut brandy), alongside delicious traditional home-cooked Dalmatian meals (mostly prepared using ingredients grown or produced on-site, including their own prize-winning Pršut (smoked ham)).

Delicious, Dua Residency, Kuala Lumpur
You know? Working from home (WFH) is really something, kinda hard to put into words, it comes with pros and cons though. Enough said, I will try to enjoy the rest of weekdays for sure.
Some of you might thinking what a flexible job i have, well all I've to tell you is, "OOOH HELL YES, MY ANKLE SPRAIN BADLY ... " It is really bad day last Saturday. I bet someone cursing me... It just happened so sudden, when i was reading sms text, on my way stepping down staircase, missed out one of the step and fell down. Immediately caused ankle sprain badly both left and right sides, it is ligament and cartilage injured terribly....
(Like pig feet if you could picture that)
Along wifey companied, she brought me to traditional chinese medical clinic, a chinese physician consulted my ankle problem. After couple conversations had made, he then started the acupuncture parts for about 20 minutes. He added that very unfortunate but yet lucky enough that i didn't have the message / rub at the very first attempt. That kinda session is always prohibited, always goes to acupuncture or electro-acupuncture to ensure it doesn't burden the injury. I then got my right ankle wrapped with chinese ointment heavily stench of course.
My direct superior quite understandable, he suggested working from home for this week just to avoid the further injure. Have the foot completely rest and less movement will be ideal. My brain and both hands and fingers shouldn't be affecting my daily BAU (Business As Usual) daily tasks. I always wonder how people working from home, was it fun? Well, i can tell you it isnt fun at all, given that my current situation. The only pros, i dont need to travel, i have a short distance for attending the nature calls, and lastly i dont need to dress up nicely. Where cons, the internet connection is far way beyond i could imagine, given the current infrastructure setup, my vDesktop sitting at US, sluggish and lagging is always my biggest challenge.
On further note, i learned the way on how a mac client remote in citrix environment. I encountered couple things, and i managed to solve it especially the dual-screen resolution, the older ICA client version could jeopardize my patience when i am talking 2 monitors perspective. How will you tackle 1440 x 900 and 1280 x 1024 issues on both mac mixture with DELL screens. I'd never learn till i faced it myself, i am grateful i had the opportunity to experience all these stumbling block, but I am enjoying it...
I had 2 with those acupuncture and electro-acupuncture sessions, this coming Saturday morning will seeing another chinese physician at Raffles Hospital. Hopefully he will able to shorten my painful days.

First time making a crustless quiche (because I was too lazy to make the shortcrust pastry). It was delicious! For a crunch factor, served it alongside some oil-less oven baked cottage fries.
