This is worth trying if you use Duracell Ultra Power Batteries the power of the light in most pencil torches will defy gravity...............
These Catalan dancers in Sitges were most enjoyable to watch. It involved a lot of leaping and banging wooden sticks together Great fun I guess

This big leaf maple is unlike anything else I’ve ever seen. This one branch must be close to 100 feet long. It was truly a gift to be able to see this in person. Very humbling… Kris
'Up' and 'down' mean very little to nuthatches as they scurry around the tree trunks as easily as if they were standing.
This one is from deep, deep in the archives. I think it was the very first abandoned house I ever shot. First time round, I smothered it in textures, I resurrected it to give it a new edit.

It's time to try
Defying gravity
I think I'll try
Defying gravity
Kiss me goodbye
I'm defying gravity
And you won't bring me down
So if you care to find me
Look to the western sky
As someone told me lately
Everyone deserves the chance to fly

Defying Winter
Some Azaleas blooming in the backyard despite being beaten back by the severe cold a few weeks ago (as evidenced by the lack of leaves in the background).
Shot with one off-camera strobe (godox AD200Pro/XPro II L trigger) camera right 130 degrees, 175 degrees above table, modified with MagMod MagSphere and two MagMod Maggrids.

A gorgeous burst of late-season colour. These Osteospermum (or African Daisies) are defying the calendar, offering one last, fiery display as the days grow shorter. I love how the vibrant, almost luminous orange of the petals contrasts with the moody, deep green background—it's a great example of the unexpected beauty you find when you look closely at the garden winding down for the year. The low-angle light perfectly highlights the texture and velvety-dark centre of the bloom."
