Isaiah 28:21
The Lord will rise up as he did at Mount Perazim, he will rouse himself as in the Valley of Gibeon— to do his work, his strange work, and perform his task, his alien task.
I took this photo sometime between 2000 and 2003 and I'm struggling to find any definitive information about the car.
NASA scientists have definitively detected the chemical acrylonitrile in the atmosphere of Saturn’s moon Titan, a place that has long intrigued scientists investigating the chemical precursors of life.
On Earth, acrylonitrile, also known as vinyl cyanide, is useful in the manufacture of plastics. Under the harsh conditions of Saturn’s largest moon, this chemical is thought to be capable of forming stable, flexible structures similar to cell membranes. Other researchers have previously suggested that acrylonitrile is an ingredient of Titan’s atmosphere, but they did not report an unambiguous detection of the chemical in the smorgasbord of organic, or carbon-rich, molecules found there.
Now, NASA researchers have identified the chemical fingerprint of acrylonitrile in Titan data collected by the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA) in Chile. The team found large quantities of the chemical on Titan, most likely in the stratosphere — the hazy part of the atmosphere that gives this moon its brownish-orange color.

C-FJJA, a De Havilland Canada DHC-8-401 Dash 8-400, just off runway 33 at Downsview Airport in Toronto, Ontario.
It was departing as DHC4001 (De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited) to Winnipeg, Manitoba and Calgary, Alberta.
FIRST: Serial number 4001 was the DHC-8-400's prototype. It first flew on January 31, 1998 at Downsview Airport. The registration is a nod to Jackson "Jock" Aitken, who had been a DHC flight test engineer for 34 years and had passed away seven months prior to this aircraft's first flight.
LAST: De Havilland Canada had manufactured aircraft at Downsview Airport since 1929. This aircraft is shown performing the last ever takeoff by a DHC product during the company's 93-year-long presence at that storied airfield.

The president of the United Nations General Assembly is a position voted by representatives in the United Nations General Assembly on a yearly basis. The president is the chair and presiding officer of the General Assembly. (Not to be confused with Secretary-General of the United Nations). The presidency rotates annually between the five geographic groups: African, Asia-Pacific, Eastern European, Latin American and Caribbean, and Western European and other States. Because of their powerful stature globally, some of the largest, most powerful countries have never held the presidency, including the five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council and Japan. A few countries had a national elected as president of UNGA twice: Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, Hungary and Nigeria; all the other member states had a national holding this office once.
These are the seven Presidents who have signed this First Day Cover:
(1) - The 7th President (1952): Lester Bowles "Mike" Pearson (April 23, 1897- December 27, 1972), was the 14th Prime Minister of Canada, serving from 1963 to 1968. He also served as leader of the Liberal Party from 1958 to 1968 and as leader of the Official Opposition from 1958 to 1963.
(2) - The 15th President (1960 / Third Special): Frederick Henry Boland (11 January 1904 – 4 December 1985) was an Irish diplomat who served as the first Irish Ambassador to both the United Kingdom and the United Nations. Boland was the president of the General Assembly of the United Nations on 12 October 1960, when Nikita Khrushchev allegedly took off his shoe and pounded it on his desk.
(3) - The 19th President (1964): Alex Quaison-Sackey (9 August 1924 – 21 December 1992) was a Ghanaian diplomat who served during the first and third republics. He was the first black African to serve as president of the United Nations General Assembly.
(4) - The 21st President (1966 / 5th Emergency Special): Abdul Rahman Pazhwak (Persian: March 1919 – 8 June 1995) was an Afghan poet and diplomat. He was educated in Afghanistan and started his career as a journalist, later joining the foreign ministry. During the 1950s, he became ambassador to the United Nations and served as president of the UN General Assembly from 1966 to 1967. During the early 1970s, he served for short periods as Afghan ambassador to West Germany and India. In 1976, he became ambassador to the United Kingdom. He served in that position until the 1978 Saur Revolution. He then returned to Afghanistan and was put under house arrest. He was allowed to leave for medical treatment in 1982 and received asylum in the United States, where he lived until 1991, before moving to Peshawar, after Pakistan offered him sanctuary. Abdul Rahman Pazhwak died in Hayatabad in Peshawar on 8 June 1995. He was in Baghwani village off Surkh Road in Nangarhar Province, Afghanistan. (Note: he signed the cover in English and in his native language).
(5) - The 24th President (1969): Angie Elizabeth Brooks (August 24, 1928 – September 9, 2007) was a Liberian diplomat and jurist. She was the first African female President of the United Nations General Assembly. Brooks was also the second woman from any nation to head the U.N. body. In 1969, she was chosen as the President of the General Assembly and took office in 1970. In 1974, she became Liberia's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, where much of her work involved the transformation of former colonial states into independent countries. She also served as Assistant Secretary of State of Liberia. Her tenure as Permanent Representative ended in 1977 when she was appointed an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of Liberia. Nominated by President Tolbert on 4 May and taking office two days later, she was the first woman to serve on the Supreme Court of Liberia.
(6) - The 25th President (1970): Edvard Isak Hambro (22 August 1911 – 1 February 1977) was a Norwegian legal scholar, diplomat and politician for the Conservative Party. He was the 25th President of the United Nations General Assembly (1970–1971).
(7) - The 26th President (1971) - Adam Malik Batubara (22 July 1917 – 5 September 1984) was an Indonesian politician, diplomat, and journalist, who served as the third vice president of Indonesia from 1978 until 1983, under President Suharto. Previously, he served in a number of diplomatic and governmental positions, including Speaker of the People's Consultative Assembly from 1977 to 1978, Speaker of the People's Representative Council from 1977 to 1978, Foreign Minister of Indonesia from 1966 until 1977, and president of the United Nations General Assembly from 1971 until 1972.

For the time being, this is what America looks like in my mind.
Mile upon endless mile of arrow-straight 2-lane blacktop spearing across the vast emptiness of the desert under a deep blue sky.
Breeding males are beautiful and distinctive with rich reddish-brown head, buffy forehead, pearly gray body, and pinkish breast. Look for large white wing patches in flight. Females are plainer warm brown overall, with a small pale bill. Very difficult to distinguish from female American Wigeon; note warmer brown head on Eurasian with little contrast between head, breast, and sides. Also look for dirty grayish, not bright white, underwings in flight, but this can be difficult to judge, especially at a distance. Widespread and common in Eurasia, breeding at northern latitudes and wintering south to central Africa and Southeast Asia. Typically in flocks on lakes and wetlands, often grazing in nearby fields. Regular winter visitor to North America, especially on the west coast, usually in very small numbers among flocks of American Wigeon.
Helsinki, Finland. May 2019.
Definitively the winter has arrived :-)
Antonio Banderas and George Clooney began to play in the snow.
The weather forecast said that tomorrow we are going to have lots of snow here, wowww!!
Update:
He crossed the Rainbow Bridge on Sept 8th 2021 caused by a tumor on his nose.
A large duck, generally common and familiar within its extensive range. Males are distinctive with iridescent green head, yellow bill, chestnut breast, and gray body. Females are mottled brown with orange and black splotches on the bill. Found anywhere with water, including city parks, backyard creeks, and various wetland habitats. Often in flocks, and frequently mixes with other duck species. In North America, females can be tricky to distinguish from American Black Duck, Mottled Duck, and Mexican Duck where ranges overlap. Those species are all darker-bodied than Mallard. A good view of the wing can be helpful, too: white wingbars on the leading and trailing edges of the blue wing patch are bolder on Mallard. Frequently hybridizes with those species, which can be even more confusing. Any bird with extensive white in the tail or curled feathers above the tail has some Mallard genes. (eBird)

Another experiment with the new camera, this time with the eye tracking auto focus. As you can see, it did a pretty good job despite my unfamiliarity with the technology.

So here my little review of the dolls!!!
After seeing the pics of rhonda, isa and erich, i was to not say it UBER EXCITED to get my dolls!!
well ..
They do NOT disappoint !!
Like i am in awe.
First off, i had read comments about the "peach soft" skin. IT IS SO TRUE !! I have no idea how, but it is soft like super soft. and it is vinyl but soft. i hate those soft skin like hot toys bodies and stuff. this is not that, it is just hard but soft. it is a pleasure to touch.
The articulations are also very good, it does feel loose compared to IT. it does. however all their articulations are like that ( except the neck which is rather stiff) so it gives a real fluidity to the doll. on the top of it they are lighter than IT, so they feel like fairies really to me. they are kinda what the nu face should have been. Younger, smaller in shape but double the attitude ( u know young peps) :)
the faces are amazingly done !!! and it looks so far of super high quality, like the hair. it is not LOW quality hair, that i can swear. it is soft and the amount is just perfect to make any hairdo realistic ( and yeah i already tried to braid one of them lol)
the outfits are uber cool also. they look super simplistic but you can see the attention to details with the under garniture ofthe dress for exemple or the seamless points on the jumpsuit. the texture is very velvetish which i kinda didnt expect but it does feel it goes with the whole softness of the brand.
I just can say kuddos to Rocco Liang to bring us such BEAUTIES ! I AM DEFINITIVELY a fan and will definitively be buying more of those in the future !!!
PS; according to my edition numbers , roxy sells faster than lena. However to me, Lena is the catch.
