One of three species that again, can only be identified definitively by examining the genitals. However, the others (E. christyi and E. autumnata), are said to favour more wooded habitats and, since this one was in my garden, I have gone with E. dilutata which also appears to be the most common of the three.

Definitively kicking myself for this shot. I was taking another kinds of pictures when I saw this image. The person was walking very quickly, so I rapidly made change some settings (primarily the exposure compensation, since it was the quickest way I saw to start capturing at a fast speed, without changing the ISO on the go) and started shooting.
The excitement got me: Aperture was way to open and couldn't focus on the person. The result is obvious: Soft trees and the subject blurry. I think it had the potential of being a great shot. It's a shame I ruined it.
I have seen many birders walking around in suits covered in leaf designs just like this. I do rather believe that they attract attention rather than merging with their surroundings, being somewhat of a fashion statement instead of a successful disguise.
Both have their points but I can not make a definitive choice so will just see what the outcome offers.... Two Bridges in Dartmoor.

Definitively the construction of the new Calarava's bridge and the Agora, has changed considerably the traditional look of the City of Arts and Sciences. In my opinion, it's getting a little cramped with so many buildings in so limited room.

Girona is definitively one of the most beautiful cities in Spain, with a rich heritage and culture that allows us to immerse ourselves in Catalunya’s ancient and medieval history.
Located within the Força Vella, the mighty Roman fortress built in the 1st century BC, Girona‘s Jewish Quarter, also known as El Call, is one of the Spanish city’s most iconic areas. A maze of narrow cobbled streets, stairs, patios and archways, it’s one of the best preserved Jewish quarters in the world.

I looked to the children
I drank from the fountains
There's more than one answer to these questions
Pointing me in a crooked line

1. With this recent batch of Sleeping Dogs shots I've been playing around trying to simulate a city during monsoon. The "rain" effect was done with the NormalMap shader, which can be animated to slowly scroll in any direction and the RealLongExposure shader used to stretch those droplets out.
I just played through Tomb Raider Definitive Edition the other day it was quite a fun game that inspired a minifig Lara Croft to be made and in effect inspired a picture to be taken as well. I am really satisfied with how this shot turned out and I hope you all like it. I'll post the setup shot later and go into greater detail on how I took this so stay tuned...
A flock of wigeon coming in to land on the Dee marsh at Neston. The town of Flint and Flint Mountain form the backdrop with Halkyn Mountain rising in the top left corner.
This is one of several duck species that have been renamed recently, leaving genus Anas with the gadwall for the resurrected genus Mareca. This was based on a DNA study published in 2009. I do have concerns that we'll get to the stage where definitive identification becomes impossible without collecting samples and sending them to a lab.

Definitively I love the smoothness of this objective. It is a Tamron 24mm 2.5 F from the eighties. I it is true that I played a little with colors, but the results is (to my advice) astonishing.

The "Bourse de Commerce – Pinault Collection" iin Paris s currently presenting a retrospective of the Minimal Art movement, which emerged in the United States in the early 1960s as a reaction against Abstract Expressionism, claiming a modernism inherited from the Bauhaus.
Even today, although definitively integrated into art history, this movement, which can appear rather austere, disconcerts many a visitor who hasn't taken the precaution of learning about its historical context and its intellectually demanding artistic approach. The works on display evoke little emotion (that's not their purpose), but even the most resistant visitor will undoubtedly be captivated, as I was, by this work by the Brazilian artist Lygia Pape, who died in 2004. The piece, made of taut gold threads, is presented in a vast, darkened room.
The definitive (?) crop of a shot with played around with a lot by the Postprocess group. Thanks to all who suggested alternative treatments last year, in the end time itself was the best editor. I'll try and replace it with a higher resolution shot of the same in a few days.

I definitively prefer the black and white photo I posted showing the aftermath of this wave, but I know a lot of you out there in IG land will only stop and look at colour. In fact I know one well known landscape photographer who quotes (tongue in cheek) “If it’s S###e black and white”. For me I’m a sucker for a good monochrome, which is only natural given my background 40 years ago in D&P, it was mostly black and white as colour was so hard to get right in the darkroom. So here is that wave in colour at the height of its power. What do you prefer?
Definitively too hot (38°C) in Paris.
The swan's family stays in the water in the shadow of trees.
This place is the best one : a little waterfall with a lot of shadow.
Thanks to the very high ISO I was able to freeze them and to catch the nice colors of the reflections.

ENGLISH
The definitive cork is inserted together with the wire cage before proceeding to the labelling and final packaging. In Spain, wines produced by the traditional method are recognizable by a star on the cork.
Cava is the name of a type of white or pink sparkling wine, produced mainly in the Penedès region in Catalonia, Spain, 40 km to the south west of Barcelona. Its name is derived from the Catalan word for cellar. There are a small number of areas in Spain outside Catalonia that also produce Cava.
The region of Penedès is an area of predominantly rocky terrain, and has been home to vineyards since the Greeks settled there in antiquity. It has a favourable climate for wine-making; the north and eastern winds of the levanter help to cool the region, while the chalky top soil over clay allows the vines to establish deep roots.
The sparkling wine of cava was created in 1872 by Josep Raventós. The vineyards of Penedès were devastated by the phylloxera plague, and the predominantly red vines were being replaced by large numbers of vines producing white grapes. After seeing the success of the Champagne region, Raventós decided to create the dry sparkling wine that has become the reason for the region's continued success. In the past the wine was referred to as Spanish Champagne but this is no longer permitted under EU law, or colloquially as champaña or xampany.
Cava is produced in varying levels of dryness of the wine which are: brut nature, brut (extra dry), seco (dry) and semiseco (medium).
Under Spanish Denominación de Origen laws, Cava can be produced in six wine regions and must be made according to the Méthode champenoise and uses a selection of the grapes macabeo, parellada, xarel·lo, Chardonnay, and Subirat. Despite being a traditional Champagne grape, Chardonnay was not used in the production of Cava till the 1980s.
In Spain, Cavas have become integrated with family traditions and is often consumed at baptism celebrations with even the newborn getting a taste of their pacifier dipped in the wine.
Cava is a Greek term that is used to refer to "high end" table wine or wine cellar. Comes from the Latin word "CAVA" which means cave in English. Caves were used for the preservation or aging of wine. The constant, slightly chilly temperature and high humidity that most caves possess makes them ideal for such use.

CASTELLANO
More DC Definitives with Nightwing and Babs. For Dick, I added those Tron arms which are debatable if they look good or not and imperial legs. As for Babs, I painted on some purple markings to her legs and a gold band. I used the idea from...someone on here I don’t remember who. I may add boots down the line but I think she looks good without em.
Definitely unsure about how to edit this picture... I must say I am not very good when it comes to editing pictures (I mean when I try to do something different than simply adjusting the exposure). Anyway, I took this picture during the Salon de la Photo de Laval. The settings are Lexa One Photographie's and the model is Mathi Cosplay. Go take a look at their Facebook pages!
