Styling and Shooting
Beginning this project with some research on several images about fashion photography and how an image can be used as communication, gave me the chance to observe the shape, the symbolism, and look closely at how fine art, graphic design, illustration and photography can be used to create that. By selecting examples of magazine articles, as well as well known editorial pages helped me gather information about the way that a magazine is organized and what it requires for it to be considered successful.
By choosing the poem called “Handprints”, by Parachute Express, I had the chance to deal with the main theme of hands. The poem analyzes how a pair of hands can make you feel the extreme happiness and simultaneously experience the greatest sadness. By analyzing the poem and experimenting with existing photographs about the theme of hands helped me to use aspects of drawing, painting, illustration and photography. I chose several photos that I had already taken which showed some hands and I also included some illustration that could describe with the use of image the meaning of the poem.
Finally, I chose to work with a pair of female hands. I had a white background and working with that I experimented with light, perspective, shades and the position of the hands. By experimenting with light and the different position of hands, I learned how to use perspective effectively. Changing the position of the fingers, several feelings were pictured, starting from touch, love, bonding and forgiveness. Moreover, the different colors of light, such as yellow, green and purple, created an interesting contrast between primary and secondary colors. Moreover, using several colored items, instead of light, I achieved creating various shades of purple and blue. Moreover, I had the idea of including some parts of the body, such as the collar bones, the back of the model, the head as well as the face. Touching her body, the model helped me picture feelings that can be easily explained through the use of hands. Finally, I took the advantage of the bone, in order to experience with light and the shades of it.
This project helped me understand how the use of body can communicate with the viewer, without using any text. Also, I had the chance to use extensively photo shop in my images and picture alternative colors, light, texture and position.
Thought I would upload some personal stuff which to be fair you guys would not normally see about the life of the guy with the nickname of Coogie..!!
We all attempt to post arty, candid composed shots but nothing we seem to do on here is normally how can I put it..... personal..So at least now you will have more of an idea of who the guy is behind the lens.. here goes....;O)
This was captured in Mexico during the week I got married to the love of my life....and this was without doubt one of the most surrealist times I have ever experienced in my life. How we underestimate the ability of creatures other than our own kind.....this was the day that opened my eyes completely..!!

ah, conductor-speak: "there's a train directly behind this one" - yes, if you trace the track far back enough i'm sure there's another train there somewhere. =)
and speaking of subways - i can't wait for those R160's to start running so we can ditch these crap-tank R40's. growing up on the F spoiled me.

Sky HD + Thomson DSI8215 Satellite Receiver 160gb with PSU Power Supply Upgrade
I have just upgraded to Sky-Q and so both my Sky+ HD (3D Anytime+) and this Sky HD + satellite receiver are now superfluous to my needs. The latter is in top condition and was working just fine right up to the point that I replaced it with the Sky+ HD (3D Anytime+) a couple of years ago.
It comes with a new power cable, the original Sky remote control and a new coaxial television cable. It does not include a phone cable or SCART cable. The successful bidder may consider replacing the remote control for a new unit as these tend to wear out over time.
This is a Thomson unit and, when I was still using it, I had the PSU Power Supply Upgrade done, and so you should not have to worry about the failure of the cheap components that originally came with the satellite receiver.
The unit comes in its original box and packaging, all of which is now just taking up valuable storage space. It seems a shame to just toss it in the bin and so its time to move it on to someone who's actually going to use it.
Selling from a pet and smoke-free home.
From this set of 23 high definition photographs on Flickr you will see that the Thomson Sky HD + box is in excellent condition.
I am happy to dispatch via Royal Mail, but the winning bidder is also feel free to collect if within striking distance of St. Albans, Hertfordshire, AL1.
Grab yourself a bargain, and happy bidding!

I photographed this white-tailed buck shortly after a rain. As you can see, the rain left a feathery pattern to his fur. You can also see the strong definition in his legs and shoulders. His glance-back was lucky timing. :)

For my final photo series, I chose to portray the idea of perseverance. The definition of perseverance is the steady persistence in a course of action. I want to express how important it is to hang on and continue throughout life even if there are difficulties and challenges in the way. Not only does perseverance occur within living things such as people and animals, but it also takes place in non living things like plants and rocks. So the theme of my photo series that I chose consists of nature’s perseverance.
While looking at my final photos, I believe two of them stand out that show perseverance. The first one is the flower with only half of its pedals left. I captured this picture after the day it was really windy outside during fall break. Before the wind, the flower had all of its pedals, but when I took the photo half of them blew away. So the point is that the flower survived throughout the windy conditions. This also relates to real life. For instance, the flower represents a person and the wind is like a challenge or barrier for them to face. The second photo that I also thought had more meaning to it was the tree hole and the mushrooms inside of it. Perseverance is definitely expressed here because the mushrooms are starting to take over the inside of the tree trunk to survive. This is also a comparison to the real world. For example, there are many people-- such as Steve Jobs--who have started out with very little and have pushed themselves to become a successful individual. So I think the fact that the mushrooms are starting to grow definitely serves as an idea to keep expanding and continuing without giving up. Also, I feel like these ones weren’t as obvious as the pictures I saw online during my research. A majority of pictures I found on the internet consisted of a lot of sports and emotions from people which in my opinion I think it is a little too straight forward and it doesn't go into a lot of depth. So ultimately, I feel like these two photos are the best representations for perseverance that I took outside.
