René Auberjonois is an American actor. He is known for portraying Father Mulcahy in the film version of M*A*S*H, Chef Louis in The Little Mermaid (and singing "Les Poissons"), and for originating a number of characters in long-running television series, including Clayton Endicott III on Benson, Odo on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and Paul Lewiston on Boston Legal. Was flagged down by her and her husband in Marylebone High Street, London, and as soon as she was in the cab I knew who she was straight away. Unfortunately I could only remember her character name, not her real name, but she was as stunning as I remember from the series - what a touch - I wanted to put my arm around her waste, but that wouldn't have been very appropriate (plus her husband was the one taking the photo)

Playing around with Nighttime Photograpy techniques, experimenting with double exposure and zoom.

Here, the Runabout in the background and the DS9 station were lit in the same exposure. Then, with a slight re-positioning of the camera and zoom, the Runabout in the foreground was lit and exposed.

The only photo editing here was to paint out any exposed spill light, adjust the bright/contrast, paint in overexposed lighting on the nacelles, and create the starfield.

Rene has been on so many shows from Benson, to Deep Space Nine to Boston Public that it is hard to pick just one as a favorite. He is also an accomplished Shakespearean actor.

Tickets for "STAR TREK: The Experience" which was a feature of the Las Vegas Hilton from 1998 to 2008, but has been dismantled after being shut down for a while then losing the license (though it looks as if it might have a rebirth in 2012... if the world doesn't end then :D).

There were two different kinds of tickets and both are shown in the surrounding photos of my Flickr stream along with a hotel room key card.

All are from 2003, before the "Borg Invasion" feature was added in 2004.

All these (and more) need new homes as I'm going to a different country for an extended stay soon so send me a Flickr Mail message (access through the arrow that appears near my profile photo when mousing over it, or click on the little tan envelope that appears on my profile page) if interested.

A friend of mine celebrated his birthday...in space!

A feisty badge for a tough little ship! From one of my favourite incarnations of Star Trek, Deep Space Nine.

The original design comes out of the Deep Space Nine Tech Manual.

Hand painted (This one took me longer than just about any other single badge on the cloak)

Finished in the mid '90's and been in storage for the last 20 years. Resurrected and given a fresh paint job, apart from the head and hands which are still in the original paint finish.

Mr Grodénchik is best known for his portrayal of the Ferengi character Rom on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.

We met him recently at the Star Trek convention, and he was a very nice guy. I was surprised to learn he grew up here in my home town!

The Star Trek DS9 panel. Kitty Swink (Luaran / Minister Rozahn), Armin Shimerman (Quark) and Chase Masterson (Leeta) take questions from the audience.

I thought I'd play around with some nighttime photography and try to create something. It's been a while since I brought out the Trek Ships. This is the first time using pen lights on them instead of glow sticks.
