This particular corrida was started in 1993 and is called "Las Ventas del Espiritu Santa." There was a procession of an icon of the Virgin while a rather good tenor sang "Ave Maria." A priest gave a short blessing.

This provided me with an opportunity to try some high ISO shots (1600). Shot in Nikon raw mode. With the large CF cards available now there is little reason not to shoot raw. In this shot the lights are off so the color is somewhat cooler than the next shot. Tweaked slightly with Adobe Light Room.
