When out birding in Kaladeo National Park, Bharatpur Rajasthan, we awoke to a foggy and a cold morning. Not a birders dream start. Stopping by at a forest guards camp for warmth and some hot tea, I noticed hundreds of cobwebs around his hut. The cold fog and the dew from overnight had formed these beautiful pearly drops on the entire cobweb.
Nature is a treasure trove. It offers us a bounty. There is so much more to see than we can ever comprehend. We just have to look.
Nurture Nature.
It's so easy to get a perfectly focused shot these days that sometimes I prefer it when a photo goes a little bit wrong.
I was puffing my way uphill in Fishguard in the rain this afternoon when (stopping for a quick breather) I looked up at these beautiful trees. Without thinking - I pointed the camera and clicked the shutter. Not until after did I look to see that the lens had steamed up. I love the effect!
The leopard (Panthera pardus) is one of the five species in the genus Panthera, a member of the Felidae. The leopard occurs in a wide range in sub-Saharan Africa and parts of Asia. Leopards are listed as Vulnerable on the IUCN Red List because leopard populations are threatened by habitat loss and fragmentation, and are declining in large parts of the global range. In Hong Kong, Singapore, Kuwait, Syria, Libya, Tunisia and most likely in Morocco, leopard populations have already been extirpated. Contemporary records suggest that the leopard occurs in only 25% of its historical global range. Leopards are hunted illegally, and their body parts are smuggled in the wildlife trade for medicinal practices and decoration.

A tree that I keep taking pictures off. I love its rough bark, the moss on its old branches and how it casts a shadow.
