At last the beautiful December Moth has visited my garden trap. Despite being quite common this was my first December Moth.
As it flies during the colder weeks of the year it comes complete with a woolly hat, scarf and gloves!!

This was the moon image I took on December 21, 2020 - Morgan County, Alabama. Getting a photograph of the "Christmas Star" was much more challenging.
LIMNI - ΛΙΜΝΗ (December 21, 2014)
Limni, on the island of Evia, is a small port, beach and tourist resort, which is beautiful the whole year round. It is located 80 km NW of Chalkida and about 150 km from Athens.
The island of Evia lies along the Eastern coast of Central Greece, and is accessible to the mainland via two bridges, an old wooden bridge and a contemporary suspension bridge. There are also frequent ferries to several parts of the island. It is 175 km long and is the second largest island in Greece, and the third largest in the Eastern Mediterranean.
Taken on the weekend of December 20-21, 2014 while my English wife Theresa Jane Brown and I were visiting friends.

Christmas lunches are usually an opportunity to overstuff yourself with fine food, and I did just that. How do you try to counter that? With a long-ish walk around the countryside, and I did just that! Neighbouring vineyards, December 2018.

Another day, another road trip. I swear I spend half of December on the road every year, traveling to and from place to place.
I'm back on my side of the border today, and should be off the road for the next two days at least, minus driving around the city doing last minute errands of course, but it will be nice to stay local for a bit.
As great as it is seeing everyone, road trip after road trip can get to be a bit exhausting and you eventually run out of PodCasts... especially over the holiday's when shows seem to be on a hiatus! I knew I should have stocked up!
Anyway, grabbed this shot when I pulled over at duty free to grab some stuff (tax free). I always like this view, and it was exceptionally pretty today. Even if I had to try a new technique to get the look that I wanted and managed to mess that up a bit, I feel like the end result turned out alright.
Anyway, hope everyone has had a good day.
