Arrival Trains Wales class 150/2 two car unit 150241 stands in the new platform 0 at Cardiff Central, 18th December 2008.
Unit History
Built at York works in 1987 and originally used on Yorkshire duties I first saw this unit on the 28th May 1987 at Derby.
The snow lies on the ground at Attenborough whilst in the distance through the bare branches Ratcliffe on Soar Power Station pumps into the clear blue sky a column of smoke from its coal fired boilers and rising columns of steam from the cooling towers as it works hard to keep the country supplied with electricity, 27th December 2014.

A cold winter sun breaks over the top of the hills surrounding Glen Coiltie late in the morning. The frozen cascade of the Falls of Divach can be seen in the gorge through the woods.

Great Western Railway 150247 stands in the platform at Paignton, 2nd December 2017. 150247 is one of the final batch of eighty five two-car class 150 units which were built at York Works in 1986/87. They have front-end gangway connections and different interiors to the earlier class 150/1 units and were initially used on longer-distance services. They are now over thirty years old and are being refurbished for further service
