A water droplet reveals what lies behind on a rainy December day in Seattle.

December 5 we got our snowstorm, rather suprisingly, it stuck. It was beyond shoveling, I had to get the snowblower out.

Realizing I'm a year and a half behind on posting pics, I'm going to try posting by month, and play a bit of catch up. Presenting December of '16.

Yes! Very happy to find a snake in December.

This wonderful large horse was our guide for a carriage tour around Charleston, SC, last weekend. He was great and never complained about pulling a carriage full of tourists.

Cheers,

Had a bit of rain last night, so I drove to the beach this morning to check out the clouds. The beach at San Clemente did not disappoint. This is my favorite time of year in SoCal… empty sand, fabulous sky and cooler weather.

Had a call to go and pick up a green-faced, pukey-feeling boy from school this morning, so I'm afraid it's an indoors shot from me today: A bit of floral sunshine on the kitchen windowsill.

*Just to clarify, the boy in question is the one who lives here. I don't go picking up anyone else's green-faced, pukey-feeling boys.

Info: Canon 7D, 100mm macro, f/4.0, 1/125, ISO 250

more than ever, i'm trying to figure out what to hold on to and what to let go of.
