I photographed the roses on December 15 in the park, the snow fell and after 3 days it melted, at night the frost was -6 Celsius, the roses appeared as in the photographs

A frozen December morning!

The temperature never broke freezing today -- it was about 30 F/ -1C when I was walking, the coldest it's been in eight months. And on top of that, we had a warmer than normal November, so it felt twice as bad today. I will get used to it eventually, but I don't have to like it. ;)

I don't always have a catchy title or pun for my shots and those shots tend to get left behind on my hard drive. It's nice to be able to dig some out from time to time. Enjoy!

Fog

We don't often get a fog here, even in the cooler months.

This morning it was very thick. A quick phone shot (that doesn't really do justice to the thickness of the fog) looking along our street to the bend further along ( about 110 metres). I really should have got the camera out!
