Another decoration...
I like my little reindeer decoration with the glittery scarf,I like the background one more though !!
The fabulous colour of this sunset mist over Ashdown Forest and Nutley Windmill East Sussex was so beautiful it needed no enhancements.
Like many people I find something rather timeless and peaceful about flowing water. To me it's like a reminder that time is a constant, that we are forever moving in one direction. Photographically whenever I am able I will often choose to use a longer shutter speed to convey this movement, as demonstrated here by the smooth water cutting its path through a field in winter.
Not my favorite month.... not my favorite holiday ... and about this time every year, I am ready to fast forward to the second week in January.
Time is a construct, and dates are arbitrary, but I'm still glad to see this year end. May 2021 bring better days for all of us, everywhere. Thanks for all the beauty and kindness that you share here, friends. It helps. All the best...
Seventy-four graduates were awarded bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral degrees by Archabbot Martin de Porres Bartel, O.S.B., chancellor, and Father Paul R. Taylor, O.S.B., president, in a traditional public ceremony that recognized the completion of their degree studies at the 17th annual December commencement ceremony of Saint Vincent College on Saturday, Dec. 18, in the Performing Arts Center.
Graduates were presented by Reverend Philip M. Kanfush, interim vice president for academic affairs and academic dean, while Evan Frazier, Chief Executive Officer of the Advanced Leadership Institute, was the commencement address speaker. Benediction was given by Reverend Maximilian Maxwell, O.S.B., Director of Campus Ministry.
