La Nandina (Nandina domestica) è un arbusto sempreverde di origini cinesi appartenente alla famiglia delle Berberidaceae.
I frutti sono delle stupende bacche rosse sferiche che donano alla pianta un aspetto davvero unico per tutto l'inverno.

Nandina (Nandina domestica) is an evergreen shrub of Chinese origin belonging to the Berberidaceae family.
The fruits are beautiful spherical red berries that give the plant a truly unique look throughout the winter.

Friends, I'm still wiped out by the loss of dear Etva. Thought I would spend more time with a normal routine today but I'm tired. Please know that I'm not neglecting you all. Just looking for a new normal at the moment.
As the Sun drops down over Leicestershire on 6th December 2020 the freezing fog starts to rise across the fields. Waltham Transmitter and Stonesby Church provide the man made features across the countryside

Another December without snow this year. A few mornings of blue mist are some consolation. Grape thickets like this one are often good places to find long-eared owls, but I did not find any here.
