“People have sometimes said my paintings stink.”
“Art means different things for different people and we all have personal tastes – where they come from, we don’t know. But these tastes can evolve, or devolve. What worries me is that in the present time tastes are devolving and very few people are engaged in what is on screen or what is in a painting and it’s just a one-way hollow thrill.”

You took us on our own cinematic adventure into the vastness of our minds and imaginations. Sometimes, it was horrific but it was always interesting. You made us curious about what was real and it became harder to tell the difference between reality and nightmares. The potential for entropy became endless. We felt we had experienced something just by watching and being open to your creativity.
With all that has happened in the past few months in terms of politics, I can't say you left the world in a better state than where it was when you arrived but I can say you left it a lot weirder and more open to discovering the unknown things below the surface. And in our darkest days, we will have your art to pull us through and remember there is still a possibility to dream, as dark and dangerous as it can seem.
Good luck on your journey. It is happening again.

Paz."

My signed copy ofDavid Lynch's film of eraserhead, which I bought off his website years ago (he sold signed copies.
I've not actually met Lynch personally, but I have seen him speak in person & have spoken to him via Skype at a Twin Peaks event.
I did get Charlotte Stewart (Mary X) to sign it at the 2012 Twin Peaks Festival.
That is also an original Twin Peaks Fire Walk with Me poster on my wall.

Drone Haven is one of those rare places that feel like a dream made of detail, humor, and heart. Sadly, this unique sim will close its doors on April 13th.
If you haven’t been yet – now is the time. If you’ve been – maybe go one last time. I did.
